And I have to say that this is the most well organized group I've ever seen and for the first time ever I don't feel overwhelmed by what's already here. Sometimes it's difficult to be the new kid in a group, but so far so good, I think.

Plenty of recommendations around here.
Thanks for the compliment re the Group - it's all down to Steph, our supreme SOSer!

Well, it definitely keeps away boredom. :)

And we have plenty of PNR series listed for you to check out.

I'm a series addict. I've completed about 3 or 4 different series, and am working through a handful of others slowly. It really doesn't matter the genre, so long as the book is awesome. I read avidly, between Kindle for PC (as my K3 got stolen a couple of weeks ago), and physical books I've always got my nose in a book.
Some of my favorite series are:
Song of Fire and Ice by George R.R. Martin
Philippa Fisher by Liz Kessler
The Time Warp Trio by Jon Scieszka
The Witches of Elieanan by Kate Forsyth
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan
House of Night by P.C. Cast
Fever by Karen Marie Moning
Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
And way too many others :)

Some great fantasy and PNR/UF series listed there, plenty more for you to get your teeth into.
