Hi, my name is Jenny, I'm new to this group. I am a total book addict and I love to read all kinds of series. Which I have been doing for a lot longer than I like to admit. I was scanning through some of the discussions and looked like lots of the members read the same types of books and series that I really enjoy. I'm always looking for good books and series. I look forward to hopefully joining in some of the challenges and discussions. Thanks.
Welcome, Jenny! Glad to see you're already finding some challenges you like, plus lots more series to enjoy!
Welcome, Ning, Eliabeth, Valerie, Christine, & Jenny! Hope you enjoy the group chatter and challenges! Look forward to seeing you around the group.
Hi everyone! I've been a bad, bad lurker around here and I am hoping to change that (as long as Goodreads and my work computer continue to get along so that I can). My name is Paris and I have an addiction, which has only gotten worse since I bought my Kindle Fire. I love reading, especially series and I look forward to getting some great series recommendations from all of you and hopefully making some new friends! And I have to say that this is the most well organized group I've ever seen and for the first time ever I don't feel overwhelmed by what's already here. Sometimes it's difficult to be the new kid in a group, but so far so good, I think.
Hi Paris! Glad you stopped lurking :)Plenty of recommendations around here.
Thanks for the compliment re the Group - it's all down to Steph, our supreme SOSer!
Hello, my name is Tiffanie. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah USA. I can't just get read enough series. Your group looks like a lot of fun. It will take me a bit to go through all the posts.
Welcome, Tiffanie! Hope you enjoy chatting and poking around the group. If you are looking for anything specific and can't find it, just holler. :)
Hi! I am Hasien. I love reading. This group looks fun. I can always use help in finding new series' to read.
Hi, Epic. Are any of your stories PNR or Sci-Fi erotica? That's what we focus on (mainly) here @ SOS.
Hey all! My name is Abby and I live in Toronto, Canada. It seems like I'm always adding new series to by TBR list and the list keeps growing and growing lol. I'm mostly a reader of PNR/UF and the occasional Contemporary romance. The books I read HAVE to have at least a little bit of romance in it otherwise I lose interest quickly lol
Thanks ladies!! I dunno why but some people have called me weird because of the need for romance in my books...
Hey! I'm Gen and I'm from Montreal, Canada. I love korean movies, dramas and music, so if you share my interest send me a message. I also love reading, obviously, and doing challenges. My favorites genres are urban fantasy, paranormal romance, historical romance and lately I found myself liking historical fiction.
Hello Fellow SOS's. I'm new to the group and am proud to say that I'm a reading addict. I devour one book a day and love, love, love escaping into a good juicy book.
Greetings! I'm new to the group but experienced GoodRead(er). I'm always looking for a fresh series.
Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ wrote: "Welcome Angie! A book a day...what does it keep away?"Well, it definitely keeps away boredom. :)
Hello all. New here. Still haven't gotten the hang of GR yet so any advice is welcome! I love PNR and am always looking for new series.
Welcome Corey! Check out the folders Quick Reference and Around GoodReads & the WWW for handy tips :)And we have plenty of PNR series listed for you to check out.
Hey all. Been lurking around for a little while, but haven't posted here yet. I'm a series addict. I've completed about 3 or 4 different series, and am working through a handful of others slowly. It really doesn't matter the genre, so long as the book is awesome. I read avidly, between Kindle for PC (as my K3 got stolen a couple of weeks ago), and physical books I've always got my nose in a book.
Some of my favorite series are:
Song of Fire and Ice by George R.R. Martin
Philippa Fisher by Liz Kessler
The Time Warp Trio by Jon Scieszka
The Witches of Elieanan by Kate Forsyth
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan
House of Night by P.C. Cast
Fever by Karen Marie Moning
Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
And way too many others :)
Welcome Martha! Glad you stopped lurking and I hope you're going to join in :)Some great fantasy and PNR/UF series listed there, plenty more for you to get your teeth into.
