Hello, I'm Alexis and I'm rather new PNR. Just started with Blood of the Earth by Faith Hunter, and now I'm hungry for more! Love the idea of reading an entire series over a year, plus added book suggestions. Can't wait to get reading :)
Hi, Alexis, welcome! You've come to the right place! We've got an endless amount of PNR suggestions. Blood of the Earth is a great book - you should really check out her other UF series, Jane Yellowrock. Nell's story takes place in the same world as Jane's and, in the earlier books, Rick appears in Jane's books.
Hi there, I'm Alicia. I'm excited to find a group that discusses all kinds of series, including fantasy and UF, two of my favorite genres. I also read a *lot* of pnr. Special favorites are Nalini Singh and Ilona Andrews. But they just don't write fast enough and I need some new authors! LOL

:D Glad ya found us, AliciaJ! And, thanks for the high praise, Alexis! So glad you're enjoying the group.
Hi! Very happy to be here among other book lovers :] I'm new to the group (&fairly new to GR) so feel free to add me if you also enjoy YA/NA, PNR, Fantasy, Scifi, Dystopian, Zombies, etc. I'm always looking for new books to read and more friends to discuss books with!!
Hey! I'm new to the group and I'm super excited but also a little over whelmed. I'm not exactly sure how this works...but ready to learn!
Welcome Maisy_Day23! No need to be overwhelmed. Feel free to ask any questions. We're happy to have ya!
Hello! New author here. My novel is a paranormal mystery romance and was added to Goodreads yesterday. I'm hoping to find readers and friends to add to my Goodreads author page. My favorite paranormal series are The Hollows, Anita Blake, Psychic Eye, Aisling Grey, The Ghost Hunter Mysteries and now, mine, The Crooked Halo Series. Please check out my novel! If you like those series you just might like mine :)
Can anyone please help me. I read this book and I can't remember the title. All I remember was that the lead or one of the leads was thrown to this underground prison with other criminals. There was also another female prisoner who was being used for sex by the other male prisoners. The lead became friends with that female prisoner. I think the lad (or one of the leads) was rescued by 2 of her friends. Thank you :D
Hello! My husband just introduced me to goodreads and as soon as I saw this group I knew I had to join. I have a serious book series addiction! Sounds like I'll be in good company here. I look forward to reading more posts and of course discovering more BOOKS!!! Haha
Just wait until GR & SOS feed the beast and add to their TBR shelves. He might be rethinking how sweet he was to refer ya to the site. hehe >;) We do tend to provide some seriously healthy TBR growth. :D
Hello! I am new here and a book addict too. I hope i ll get to discover some fun and like minded readers here!!!!!!!
Hello all! I'm looking for a sci fi book I read years ago when I was a kid, I think it was called The Tomorrow Station; about a guy who picked up a hitchhiker who leaves a radio behind that broadcasts tomorrow's news. Scene I remember when he discovers the radio predicts the future is when he hears the news on it about a fire at the hospital where his wife works and he rushes down there to find there is no fire! But then the fire happens the next day. Any of you ever heard of it and know who the author was. Been trying to find it under the title but no joy. Maybe I just imagined it and it's a book I'm yet to write!! ;) Be great to read it again so if any of you have any info fire away. Cheers. S
Sorry don't know that book S.A. You might find some joy at the Group that specializes in tracking down forgotten books.
What Book is That
Put that into the search section on the group page and it should come straight up.
Hi Sandra. I tried a search but it didn't come up. I'll try different combos and see if I can find it. Thanks.
Steph wrote: "Hope they can help ya; it's not ringing any bells for me."Hi Steph! Yes they found it. It was called The Tomorrow Station by Mark Bannon. Was so happy!! ;))
Hey there. I'm new on goodreads and besides swallowing tons of crime noir books I'm also a sucker for YA and urban fantasy (though I struggle with a poor writing style I am massivly happy to find new books which satisfy me in story and writing :))
Welcome Sandra! Welcome to Goodreads as well as SOS :)Hopefully you can find some outstanding UF & YA reads on our Best of Lists. Don't hesitate to jump in to any discussions, challenges etc we're a very friendly bunch of readers :D
Hello, I'm KatieV. I stumbled on this group because it was listed as a featured group when I went to the group page. I am a PNR fan and more recently UF and Fantasy. Currently working through Patricia Briggs backlog while I wait for the next Alpha & Omega installment.
