I was gonna have a party for my 15 and 1/2 birthday but I didn't have time :( lol that was random but I saw 15 1/2 and was thinking about how I celebrate half birthdays...


yeah at the library it's free. My local library doesn't have anything good but I put books on hold and they bring them there so I don't have to go to all the individual buildings all over the city.

I have a job but I got hired like twice this year :p playing violin at weddings and funerals. $25 for funerals, $100 for weddings. one time for a funeral they said they couldn't afford to hire me and then they tipped the organist $25 :p

Violinists usually play with accompaniment but some things are without accompaniment. At weddings and funerals I usually play while my mom (the organist/professional singer) plays the organ or piano. I have a book of wedding songs I play out of, as well as hymn descants (harmonies) and my Suzuki books, which contain songs I can use for prelude, "after Communion", and occasionally postlude. One time I played at a Halloween-themed wedding and the postlude was that one thing that I can't think of the name of where it has the chromatic scales going down? does anyone know what that's called?

I play at church every week, btw, and have been for several years, so I'm very used to it now and can usually interpret eyebrow signals across the loft (we usually play in a choir loft) and such...

I love bookstores...I just take a book and read it at the cafe inside the store...lol I don't even need to buy them cuz I finish the book :)
