Does anyone have a clue what the Menoa tree took from Eragon?The only hint we got was that Eragon got a pain in his stomach area.Ideas?

Lol, my friend had an idea, but I don't really think it's right. And it's awkward. :P

I've never really thought about it but that's kind of weird lol maybe CP will explain it better in the last book?What else is a plausible explanation for what the tree took from him?
The thinkg that I first thought of was his fertility. I know that may be odd, but it seems the most likely for the amount of evidence that we have at the moment. Somehow, I don't think the tree took his appendix or any other internal organ.

That makes a lot more sense than the tree taking his "fertility". I like that idea a lot more. But why would the tree take Saphira's eldunari?

then if she could tell when her eldunari was gone why didn't she say anything? but li still like the idea.

When a dragon's Eldunari is taken from its body, the Eldnuari pretty much "lives" somewhere away from the dragon's body, and the dragon feels that. Saphira would know if her Eldunari were gone, because her conscience would be there instead of in her body. And Eragon would know, either because he would feel it through her or because Saphira told him. So even though it makes sense, I don't think that's at all possible.
Maybe the tree has something to do with Eragon leaving?
I agree with Alyssa. it would be obvious if that happened. Plus on more than one ocassion the book was told in point of view of Saphira.....soooooo.....

Well, I do.But it is highly unlikely, and I got the idea from anime. And I haven't read the third book yet.

Okay,I found proof that the Menoa tree didn't take her eldunari!When Eragon and Saphira recieved Glaedr's eldunari,Saphira said,and I quote,THE SCALES ON HER KNECK RIPPLED AS SHE MADE AN ODD,SERPANTINE MOTION WITH HER HEAD."I'VE ALWAYS BEEN AWARE OF MY HEART OF HEART'S.ALWAYS I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FEEL IT INSIDE OF ME>There,she would know if her eldunari was gone and remember a part of her conciousness travels with it so it is altogether impossible.*leans back on chair with satisfied smile*
