Phoenix (phoenixapb) | 1619 comments Wait, why are you leaning against the tree Larry? I thought the tree was there to support the book's spine...you know, so you can deeply penetrate the meaning of what you are reading.

message 59: by [deleted user] (new)

I've never done it while completely under water.

Your cell, don't drop it!
Baths are what cheap paperbacks are for, not expensive cell phones. Sheesh!

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
or library books. they're good in the tub too.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Now you're just messing with me, Sally. As tempting as it may be to read a library book in the bath, you're playing with fire!

...or, water, or something. Some metaphor that doesn't clash with baths...

What literary characters would you like to sleep with? (I'm reading that as a euphemism for bang.)

message 89: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmmmmmm. Mr Darcy springs to mind first, but he might be a little too uptight. Mr Rochester has definite potential. Jamie Fraser (oh yes), while he definitely liked to satisfy his women he is a little too kinky for my taste. I think I'll stick with Mr Rochester, he’s is definitely sensual.

message 90: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart Any one of John Donne's personas
