Oh I love the Wrinkle in Time series...as well as the Dark is Rising Series...there are great books in the YA genre.

Cheryl Symko (csymko) | 2 comments Some other books that are good in the YA genre are Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, House of Night series by PC Cast, Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine, The Clique by Lisi Harrison, Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. There are a few suggestions. I have read some of them and my daughter who is 12 1/2 has read some also.

BJ Rose (bjrose) | 1 comments Emily, for fantasy, have you tried the Septimus Heap series by Angie Sage or the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik or the Sharing Knife trilogy by Lois McMaster Bujold? The Sharing Knife series is romance and more serious-minded than the other two.
