Thanks to all who attended an excellent Book Group were we discussed Kader Abdolah - My Father's Notebook.
A book that generated a lot of discussion mainly in the positive, all enjoyed the main characters but some would liked to have more known about Aga's wife Tina.
A lot was talked about the political side of the book and how the people of Iran were used by the West back in the late 40's and 50's because of their neighbours the Soviet Union.
Overall a 4 out of 5 for this book.
Look forward to seeing all next month where we will be discussing a book that I've already read twice!! lol,
Victoria Hislop - The Island.
Take care all and have a lovely July.
