July - Pick It For Me! Challenge
Also, as a reminder please don't forget to let me know which genre you're most interested in reading for this pick it for me challenge. Thanks.
Gigi wrote: "Ang wrote: "I love PNR and Erotica"Awesome! Thanks Ang! Do you prefer PNR and/or Erotica for this challenge as well?"
Can i do both??
if not PNR :D Thank YOU
Thanks Ang! Sure, no need to stick to just one genre- its just a pairing technique for me. Since you like both PNR and Erotica and would prefer to read them for this months pick. I'll make sure your partner reads a lot of PNR and Erotica as well.If you decide that you want to try a genre thats new to you instead, let me know and I'll make the change.

Hiaa Gigi1. The genre I read most often is romance.
2. And the genre I most interested in reading in paranormal (romance).
Thnxx =))
I'm in :D1. Probably paranormal romance and urban fantasy, I read a lot of young adult, too
2. what's above and historical romance, romantic suspense, contemporary romance and chick lit. If someone would like to recommend a nice suspence or mystery novel - I won't be dissapinted :D I don't mind erotica as long as there's a plot in the book.
hye Gigi! What I read most is probably erotic romance (to include M/M)
What I would like to read more of Paranormal/ YA
Great! Thanks everyone!I've revised my questions a little to be more specific.
Hi! I'm pairing people up for the pick it for me challenge. I've decided to pair people by genre. So, you are going to receive a PM from me with the following 2 questions. You can either respond in this thread or respond to the PM.
1. Which genre or romance sub-genre (Historical Romance,Paranormal romance, Erotica, etc.) do you read most often or would you consider yourself well-versed in?
2. Which genre or romance sub-genre are you most interested in reading (could be a genre or sub-genre completely new to you that you've wanted to try or one you presently enjoy)?
The final pairing list will contain your name with the genre or sub-genre you'd prefer to read for this challenge. The genre or sub-genre listed next to your partners name is merely a suggestion for their 8 recs, not the rule.
Thanks for your help with this.
Gigi : )
Favorite: Contemporary, suspense or historical romance. Most interested in reading: Any genre, except paranormal.
1.I'm well-versed in YA & the Paranormal & Historical romance subgenre.2.I'm most interesting in reading Contemporary romance. I noticed my shelf has alot of the former but not much of the latter.
I've been thinking about joining this challenge for a really long time, I'm ready now! :DEDIT: I like them all except old (-1999) and futuristic stuff.

Thanks Lethal! This helps me a lot!
Great! Thanks everyone! Also, don't forget that I need 2 questions answered:
1) what you read most?
2) what would you prefer to read for this challenge?
Heather wrote: "And does the book you recommend have to be a romance?"Books recommendation does not have to be romance, it can be any genre/author/book you want to recommend to your partner.
Big Welcome to members trying this challenge for the first time! Please take a look at my first 2 posts for a guideline on this challenge. You can also take a look at this thread here, where you can find step by step instructions on message #25: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/2...Did i miss anybody by mistake?
Questions:1. I read just about anything, but I think I've probably read young adult books the most so far.
2. I'm up for anything, but something summery would be nice or a book that is similar to how Nicholas Sparks writes his books.
I read mostly YA and Paranormal Romance, sometimes psychological thriller-type books, but I'm ready for something new as long as it sounds interesting
Gigi wrote: "Great! Thanks Heather! This helps a lot."No problem :)
When is it that we find out who we are paired with?

Either after 11pm on the 29th or early morning on the 30th.
my favorites are contemporary and historical romance but i'd love if my partner could find a good interracial?
yep - either Gigi or Rossy will post it - if rossy does it will be at the beginning of the thread, or if GiGi does, it will be further down! have fun!Heather wrote: "Sounds good, thanks.
Will it be posted on this thread?"
I'm in if I'm not too late THX EI usually read either Historical Romance or Paranormal romance. I'm up for any genre for the challenge, I'm always in broadening my reading horizons.
Melissa wrote: "I would like to participate, so please count me in!"They also want to know what Romance genres you generally read & what you'd be interested in?

1. Well versed in PNR, UF and contemporary romance2. Most interested in PNR, UF, contemporary and YA.
I'm in, if it's not too late :)1. Well versed in PNR, UF and YA.
2. Most interested in PNR or UF this month
Thanks everyone for your answers to the questions. My idea for pairing this month is to match people who read a certain genre or sub-genre with those who are interesting in trying that particular genre but have no idea where to begin or who just want to read a certain genre for the month of July. And if you have no preference, that works too. So, all of your answers have been very helpful. The rules of the challenge haven't changed. We're still picking 4 tbrs and 4 new books. I'm hoping the genres will just serve as a guide or as a suggestion, not necessarily as a rule about what you have to pick for that person.
Thanks everyone for all of your cooperation with this.
