Ohmygoshreally?! That's so awesome! I've always wanted to ride an elephant! They're my favorite animal!

Muffin. Those big ones from Costo, chocolate. Unless it's against my moms croissant sandwiches. Those are to die for.

Costco Muffin or Homemade Muffin?

message 1102: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments Yup! It was quite an experience. One of the many advantages of living in South India. I also got to feed bananas to them. They are just wonderful.

Preferably home made muffin! But I don't mind really.

the sound of a ticking wrist watch or the sound of the pecking Woodpecker?

message 1103: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments Spring! What a wonderful pulse they have!

Singing or Dancing?

message 1104: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments I want to visit India one day.

Ajay's first: A ticking wrist watch

Al: Fall. But I prefer to call it Autumn :D

Autumn or Fall?

message 1105: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments Nope. I haven't seen the pic with the mustache, Alex! But now I am curious. Where is the pic? :)

Yes, Kat. You should visit India sometime.

Autumn! Something romantic about it.

Singing or Dancing?

message 1106: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments Ooh, that's hard. I'd have to say singing though, I've been doing that for longer. I've always wondered how bands sing AND dance at the same time.

Shawn Green or Gus Blue? (psych)

message 1107: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments That's not fair, Alex!

message 1108: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments Not sure of both, Kat. Are they music artists? I'l leave it to the others to answer.

message 1109: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments :) No problem, Alex. But the present one is beautiful!

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4483 comments Kat wrote: "Steve Carell...best choice out of the two."

That's true. You can only take Will Ferrell in small doses. . . or not at all. :P

message 1111: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Will Ferrell is as indigestible as ipecac.

Nice photo Al.

I haven't watched the show Kat, in which these characters appear. So, instead of choosing a tertium quid I'll let another opt for one of the two.

message 1112: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Hello Al. I'm busy lurking. But I am even more busy creating my final class lecture. It's going a bit sideways on me, too. So, lots to do.

How are you? I was hoping your long WSS quiet was a sign you were resting and getting well again.

message 1113: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I've read most of it, so there is no point in deleting it. It is very good! Very interesting.

message 1114: by Guy (last edited Oct 14, 2012 03:07PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, sorry, but I read them first! Just got back after baking cakes, and making / eating lunch.

Now back to the lecture! It is fun, actually, but how to keep it from getting too ... big. That is a big challenge for me.

message 1115: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Blueberry / Strawberry shortcake cakes. Delicious!

M | 11617 comments Beautiful profile photo, Alex!

message 1118: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Good night Al. Just finished cooking supper: home-made stuffed chops, candied yams, apple sauce, mashed potatoes. We're just letting the chops to rest a few more minutes before chowing down.

Hope the sleep was restful and filled with dreams that brought laughter.

Hi M and Kat.

Salad.

Pizza or Chinese for take out?

message 1123: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Oct 15, 2012 04:13AM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4483 comments Reading before bed. That seems to be the only time I get to read lately. While writing before bed can be annoying for me, I have written very big pieces of stories before bed that I think were pretty good.

Playing video-games or Reading?

message 1124: by Kyra (new)

Kyra (Nikara) | 1221 comments Reading. Classic answer, yes, but it's true. I like video games, but books have more appeal to me.

Reading essays or reading articles?

message 1134: by Aikuchi (new)

Aikuchi Reading Articles.
Coz I like the word Articles better - and its easier to read for me.

Your Modus Operandi: Lying by omission OR Guilt Tripping

message 1135: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments What a great/nasty question, if you are only looking to great distension and flame outs.

Hmmm. I hope I've managed to keep how I really think hidden behind that distracting dis-information.

Well, if I were forced to choose, omission, because it rolls of the tongue trippingly, with nary a stumble nor reliance on memories lost.

Modus Operandi or Profile?

message 1136: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I posted some popcorn. Maybe that will jog your tired memory? Okay, not likely, but you never know.

message 1137: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments All you needed to do was add another "I think" at the end of your paragraph for it to be worthy of the three stooges. Yes, it sounds like your meds are messing with your brain.

I hope you enjoy my popcorn before closing your eyes: it is likely to put you to sleep, but Pandora laughs a lot and so may be inspiring to your dreaming self.

message 1138: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Al, Al, Al, my sweet tired Al. It is time for you to lay your head down and hear a better voiced me sing a gentle lullaby to put you to sleep. Truly, if you found that popcorn funny, sleep is the cure.

message 1139: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Good night. I slipped away for a few to make ML and I some tea. I hope you are, truly, sleeping.

See you in the morning.

message 1141: by M (new)

T.S. Eliot or Sylvia Plath?

message 1145: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments ET! Never fails to move me!

Jogging in the park at 5.30 AM or Waking up at 12 Noon for a Brunch? Gosh, this is a clear sign of me running out of questions.

message 1146: by M (last edited Oct 16, 2012 02:27PM) (new)

M | 11617 comments I’d have to sleep a looooooong time to wake up at noon. I usually wake up between 2 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.
