The Scent of Rain and Lightning

Rebecca, I read the ARC of The Scent of Rain and Lightning that I won from Goodreads Giveaways, and I really enjoyed it. I'm surprised how much it has stuck with me, actually. It doesn't seem, going in, like it would be one of those memorable books, but I've found myself thinking about little Rose, Kansas more than a few times just out of nowhere. :)

This is a great book to give away. I really didn't think that I would have ever liked a book about ranchers and Kansas, but this book surprised me.

No, this was my first Pickard book, but I will definitely be on the look-out for more at the library.

I liked Scent of Rain and Lightning so much that I mailed the ARC to a friend for her to read it. :)

I loved Scent of Rain and Lightning. I just got Virgin of Small Plains from the library. Can't wait until I actually have time to read it. Are those her only books so far?
