What is a buddy read?

Anyone can post a buddy read (whereas the group moderator sets official group challenges).

A buddy read is where someone would like to read a book and discuss it with others. Post a new thread listing the book, series, and author. You can start a buddy read on a particular book, or you could start a thread to read a particular series. List the date you plan on starting the book/series. Anyone who would like to read the book and join you can post and then you can discuss the book together as you read. Anyone who has already read the book can feel free to drop by and add to the discussion.

Please check our featured author master list first before starting a buddy read. If the book/author/series is listed there already, then please continue to post there for your buddy read instead of here, as there is already a group discussion going for those book(s). Thank you
