If you scroll down it looks like the group read Neuromancer back in 2008. (I wasn't in the group myself at the time, so I can't attest to it personally, but there is a folder discussing it.)
No prob.I just thought I remembered spotting it down there because I almost nominated it a month or two ago. Since it's already been read, I guess I'm on my own! (At least I can go back and check out the discussion once I'm done.) ;)

I need books like it which is read in literature class do u know any
I've never taken a course on science fiction, but here's a syllabus I found online for the class they offer at UCSB: http://www.english.ucsb.edu/teaching/...
I read it for a fiction class in college. It was the most memorable of all the books we read, though we also read The Handmaid's Tale.
I did a sci fi and postmodernism course in third year. We read The Player of Games by Iain M. Banks for space opera, Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson for cyberpunk, and Grass by Sheri S. Tepper for femninist sci fi.There were also quite a few short stories, including Burning Chrome by William Gibson. He has a short story collection of the same name. I can't recall the whole list of short stories right now, but I'll get them for you if you're interested.
