idk i just didn't want people putting random things in her like say they're a demigod or something random like that cuz i have been in some role plays and someone will mess the whole thing up by saying they're a vampire and its a western role play you know what i mean? so basically i just wanted this one to be about hp

Ivan looked around coldly, not really intendng too. "Another year at this school and still, no friends. this is wonderful" he glared at a first year who squeeked and ran off.

Mia had bent down to tie her shoe her bun flopping in her face. when she stood she looked up at the intimidating halls of hogwarts "weird how i can live here for 3 years going on 4 and still not fit in" Mia started to walk to her dorm when she noticed an boy with blond hair standing in the hall a mean stare on his face. not wanting him to see her she ducked behind a suit of armor her face red

"nah nah" he sighed and looked around the halls with a slightly softer look. "It is good to get out of the harsh winters of Russia though" he sighed and walked up the large stairs. he didn't feel like going to the great hall at the moment.

Mia peeked around the suit of armor, watching the blond boy clime the stairs. she wanted to follow him, but thought better of it. " no Mia the last thing you need is follow someone who doesn't want to be followed." whit a sigh and a shake of the head and walked to the great hall the whole time her mind on the boy with the blond hair

he climbed his way all the way to the slytherin(am i spelling tha right?) dorm and sighed. he walked in and looked around, everyone that was in there looked at him the coward. They knew what his temper was like.

mia walked in to the great hall, her heart pounding and her stomach in knots. maybe this will be the year she finally fits in the year where she finally feels like a witch. she kept the hope alive as she walked over to ravenclaw's tables, she looked around hoping to see a friendly face in the crowd "maybe i can sit with jessica she was nice enough last year". searching for jessica she walked the length of the table and back around again. finally she found jessica sitting with a group of guys all of which were begging for her attention, as jessica flipped her honey blond hair and batted her long thick black eye lashes. "Hey jess." Mia stammered giving what she hoped was a confident smile but failed miserably. Mia started to lower herself onto the bench across from jessica, but jessica stopped her "um what are you doing?" she sneered
"i um...i" mia stammered
"well you can't sit here." jessica said looking mia up and down giving her her best cold smile
"i...i..." mia stammered
Bumping mia out of the way ashley slid into the spot mia had been about to sit in before jessica stopped her.
"hey jess," ahsley said flipping her glossy chestnut hair.
"hey ash," jessica said smiling at ashley her eyes returning to mia when she realized mia was still there "um you can go now." jessica sneered at Mia the whole table erupted in laughter. With tears rolling from her eyes Mia fled the Great Hall

"Really?!, all of you are really going to stare at me like some freak, like some one who doesn't want freinds!? you want me to curse you into oblvion!!" he nearly screamed this, his voice echoing throught out the dorm. He glared with his violet coloured eyes and stlaked out of the dorm. He stalked down to the halls and tried not to cry, his child like side comeing out again. He turned to the large stair again and walked down it a bit before sitting down. He hugged his knees and cried a bit, curseing all the while in Russian.

Mia ran from the Great Hall her movements awkward in her haste she rounded the corner and ran up the stairs tripping over her own foot she laid on the stairs paralyzed as her body shook with tears, whipping her eyes she looked up, only to be face to face with the boy she had seen in the hall earlier

she thought: great! you make a butt of yourself in front of everyone in the great hall and now your snotting all over yourself in front of this guy way to go mia! he probably thinks your a crazy snot monster!! dang it!!

"um, hey" mia stammered whipping angrily at her face

"huh?" he looked up "i-i, are you ok?" he sounded so childish at that moment as he wiped away his tears. he stood and offerd his hand to her. "at least its good to know im not the only one who's upset"

she whipped her hand on her sweater nervously, gave his hand a curious look before taking it, she wasn't used to people being nice to her especially people she didn't know. "um thanks... were you...did i ... did i interrupt something? sorry if i did" she said her face bright red

"no, no its fine, i-i just came from my dorm is all, i-i was just walking around really" He smiled a little, his violet eyes stareing directly into hers. "I-I'm Ivan, its nice to meet you" his accet was obiviously not from there.

"Mia," she said her light blue eyes mesmerized by Ivan's violet ones.
"You um...you going to the great hall?"

"well, i was, but im not so sure if i want to, I-I tend to scare people, i-i never really understood why, but..."

Mia tilted her head to the side her bun flopping as she did so. She looked him over "I don't see why, you seem nice to me." her face blushed

"most people from the slytherin house scare people away, but i seem to have a different effect" he smiled coldly at her blush.

"Oh," mia said turing away from him to hide her blush "well I didn't mean to disturb you so..." Mia said turning to walk away

"well, wait, i didn't say go" he said this with a slight plea. IT was nice to finally meet someone who didn't cower down at him. "I-i mean..."

Mia stopped in her tracks, turning to face the strange boy that stood in front of her " Well umm I don't much feel like going back to the great hall but we could I don't know walk or something..." she blushed she was never this forward. As she waited for his response she silently prayed he would except and maybe just maybe she would find a friend in Ivan.

"well, its better then getting sneerd at o-or cowerd down at...sure, if you would like that, then yes, i would love to" he was so suprised that someone was being nice to him, he just hoped she wouldn't mind his "other side" the not so nice one.

"Okay!" she beamed "want to walk down by the black lake or.... " she stopped herself she didn't want to get carried away, or get her hopes up to high, only to have them crushed later. nervously she chewed her bottom lip a slight pout creeping onto her face

"you can choose, i dunt mind one bit" he let a true, rare, small smile slip onto his face.

Mia looked up at Ivan there was something different about him, but what that was she didn't know "Um, how about the lake I love it there ." she smiled up at him.
she thought: Don't blow this Mia, just stay calm, breathe. Oh please oh please let me have found a friend!

"sure,its a nice place, i've only been there once though and i--" he stopped midscentence and smiled coldly and wickedly at the floor.

Mia turned to look at Ivan. For a brief moment she was afraid of him afraid of his cruel smile, she shook her head, letting the fear fall from her as she did. She gave him a curios look wondering what had happened at the lake that put that cold smile on his face. "wha..." she was about to ask him but stopped herself not wanting to endanger the only chance she had at a friend

"hmmm, lets go shall we?" his "better side" was begining to vanish from the thought of what happend, but he tried not to scare Mia, he wanted and needed a friend.

"Kay..." she said still puzzled by the cold look that had been on his face, turned and stared walking "What year are you?" she asked

"Sixth" he shrugged. "and you?"

"fifth, so Slytherin... do you um do you like your house?"
mia thought: God you're stupid Mia!
"What i mean is do you um....you know I'm not sure what I mean."
Mia thought: Man I'm lame he is probably seconds from ditching me Way to go Mia!

He laughed softly, almost hissed softly. "my house is not all its cracked up to be" He thought for a moment. "many people in my house..." he stopped.
He thought: many people in my house fear me, but im not about to tell her that.
"many people in my house are not so nice"

"Yea I've heard that..." her face blushed "What i mean to say is....Sorry I didn't mean anything buy that honest." Mia said biting at her bottom lip and twirling the hem of her sweater nervously.

"why try to hide what everyone knows?" he looked at her smiling coldy as usual, his additude changed a little, he was a bit more stright foward. "i take no offence by it"

Mia smiled up at him. Curious as to the reason the cold look kept reappearing on his face"Well you don't seem to scary...Do you get along with you housemates okay?"

"get along?...." he fell silent. he tried to, but how would he if they feard him.

"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. I was just curios. " Mia said

"no, no, its ok, i guess i get along with some of them, some of them i just want to blast into oblivion" he mutterd the last part.

Mia stopped walking as they came to the double doors that led out side and to the lake. "Well at least you get along okay..." she looked up at him wondering what he had said under his breath "I um i don't really get along to well with my house." she said blushing at the admission

Mia blew out a breath of air as she opened the doors the cool night air hitting her in the face "I don't know really...i just don't fit in I guess..." she frowned

He frowned and looked at her, he grabbed her hand and lead her out, not thinking it was weird to grab her hand. "well, thats not a nice thing to think, you probable fit in better then i do"

She blushed his hand felt warm, safe, natural "Thanks but i doubt it I just don't know...i feel so out of place her like maybe Im not supposed to be here like maybe they made a mistake..."

He looked at her with wide eyes, he had always felt the same way. like you dunt belong,like maybe that owl came to you by mistake, but hogwarts was like your real home. the one where, even if you dunt have friends you have the castle at least. "you to?" he said softly,looking away.
