Hello all! I just joined, and I am from Auburndale Florida, and I see I am behind in reading her books! I started reading them years ago, had all from the very beginning, then had to stop. Now, having a nook color, I am starting to rebuild my print collection on my device.

just got to find the title of her first Dark Hunter novel was..... then I am in! I think I do have the first title down pat, but wasn't there a novella, or a short story first??
hey all, vish here from la, ca... I currently own all her con & dh type series, and a few of the bad agency. been a long time dh fan loving her spin offs so far, as for joy if memory serves it was fantasy lover

Hi Josephine, welcome to the group. I think a good majority of us have done solo reads on her books so far. But there are so many sections around here where you can join in and talk about the books as you go along. Or I'm sure if others are willing someone would be willing to do a buddy read with you here as well. Although they might be much further ahead in the series though.

ha, I dream of fan fic's i'm writting 4 the Percy Jackson series all the time, okay, it straaayed Faaaaaaaar off into it's own series! I'm also thinking of writing 1 4 this series, hmmm, wonder if ill dream of that, of if the fan fics will merge, it alwready merged with my love of Supernatural the TV show....lulz..
Heeye, I'm Kristopher Koessel, I may be young, but I'm HELL of a good author, jus..not on Goodreads....i have it all in ma head, but when it comes to typing it, well, starting it, i gets stuck, it sucks realy. Can't finish if i never start, u know. *sigh* I'm new 2 the series, but I <3 anything 2 do with Atlantis, Greek myths...so yeah

I don't think I've introduced myself. Melanie, Mel, Lanie. I am Canadian and I've been reading Sherrilyn Kenyon's book for a little over a year. While on vacation in North Carolina with friends. I joined a discussion about the book Acheron, it sounded fantastic. When I got back home I found, bought and read the book. I was hooked and aware that I had started in the middle of the series. So I went back to the very beginning. I have just recently started them again. Some additions are totally reasonable.

I had only read the first 4 when I had to know more about Ash ! the only bad thing was being confused about Nick Gautier ! ( I am now up to speed and patiently waiting for Time Untime ) I highly recommend her League series and the Nick Gautier series !

I havent read the BAD agency series how does it compare to the rest? Ive read almost all of her DH, all CON, all League and all Belador.

Now I am waiting for her latest book with the rest of this gtoup. You can't go wrong with Kenyon.

Hi, my name is Janie and I am from Asheville, NC and Chipley, Florida, I have read most of the Dark Hunter series and some of her other books. I love them all. I have also read some of the JR Ward books and I love them and Christina Feehan's Carpathian series. I got started with the Dark Hunter series because I had read all of the current Carpathian series, and wanted something similar. Loved, loved them both. When I finished reading the current ones of that series I discovered, JR Ward. again loved it. What can I say. I am hooked. My husband travels a lot so I read a lot when he is gone. And it's not cheatng. (is it) hehehe
Hi Janie, My sister mentioned the JR Ward books and suggested I read them next. What can you tell me about them? PS: love the Carolina's, I have family in South and friends in North.
Well it has been about a year since I read them so I don't remember lots of details. But the books are about a group of men/demons who have been cursed for centuries. They can break the curse but at first don't know that. Each books is about how they meet the woman they are meant to be with and the trials the two of them have to go through. Of course the men are sexy and heroic, like in Feehan and Kenyon's books. If you like either of their book you will like these as well. Just talking about them I want to read all their books again.
Hi Janie welcome to the group. Please dive right on in. Oh and hate to overly correct ya right off the bat. But actually the Ward books are about a brotherhood of vampire fighters. There is a vamp King, some reincarnation, A brother(that creates the bad guys known as the Lessers) and sister(who created the vamp race) set of Gods. There is hot sex scenes, interesting brothers. There is a gay couple too which is great.It is a good series Melanie. Just I will warn ya that the Ward books are hella long. Up to like 72 or so chapters. So if you don't have anything you really want to read right now or for the next little while then can do them no prob. But if you have something you want to get through I suggest you reading it first. As there are just so many sub plots and everything going on that extends a Ward book. But there are still some really good parts that make up for it.

I want to say, although I haven't read them so I'm not sure, but I feel like the books Janie are talking about are by Gena Showalter Lords of the Underworld series, but I could be so wrong...
Could be. I have been told about them, but still don't readily recognize them.

Hi everyone! My name is Suzanne and i'm out here in Vegas. I was turned into these books by a Co worker. I believe i've read them all with the exceptions of chronicles, and league. Have to say that acheron, Stryker, and Julian's were my absolute faves.some of my fave authors include Christine feehan, Lori foster, Lora Leigh..currently waiting to get my hands on the newest Karen Marie moning book about Mac and barrons! Also hoping the second crossfire novel comes out b4 October!

Hi my name is Tonia. Acheron is my favorite book. I have read all the Dark Hunter books. I can not wait to dive back into her world when Time Untime comes out. Simi is also my favorite character of hers. Love, love, love me some Kenyon!

Thanks for the welcome. I forgot to put where I am from. The great state of Louisiana. That is my connection to Dark Hunters. I love the fact that I know some of the places she discribes in her books. Do you have any challange reads in this group?
Oh cool. Another member knows about the Louisiana area too. So must always be extra interesting to have that particular tie-in. And nope no challenges in this particular group Tonia. Purely a fan group of Kenyon's work. So can chat about fave characters, the books, appearances, plot theories and stuff like that. Did you have any particular ideas for challenges?
Hi Tonia! I keep saying I'm going to come up with a challenge but as Dhfan4life can attest it hasn't happened. I wasn't sure there was interest and I just hadn't come up with anything. If it's something people want, I would gladly attempt to put my thinking cap on and come up with something... maybe. :)
I could set it up Tara. I'm just curious as to what ideas others might have about what kind of challenges they would want. I mean I was thinking of one where people can use their favorite character names and find books with the first letters of the name, maybe?

Hi, my name is Tabby. I'm a 27 yr old single mom from TN and I love the DH series. I haven't been able to get my hands on some of the newer ones yet (I still haven't read Nick's book), but I am dying to. In between DH books, I love JR Ward's BDB series, Christine Warren's Others series, Kresley Cole's IAD series, Gena Showalter's LOTU series....etc. I am a book junkie and once I find an author or series I like, I can't stop until I have them all. Anyways, glad to be here! Maybe I'll meet some fellow book junkies like myself around here ha ha...

Hi Tabby and Jackie ..... I'm in MI. I too love the DH (ASH ... OMG! can I just say ... He's mine) Love IAD, BDB, LOTU, IAD. If you haven't tried Christine Feehan's Dark Series, Ghostwalkers, Jaguar's or others, you're missing something. All these authors are awesome.
Hi, I'm Kristen. I'm a 26 year old that lives in Virginia. I have an almost two year and love being a mom! I also love all Sherrilyn's books, though the DH series is my favorite (of course it is, though! It has Acheron in it!) The DH series was the first supernatural/fantasy fiction that I had ever read and I now I am hooked for life! I have yet to meet SK or go to any book signings but I will one day!!!! I would love to meet her!
