Actually, it's kinda nice. I finished my last book, gave it a star rating, and then went to write a review on my blog... I had to really think about why I gave it what I did, instead of my usual flippant "oh, 3 stars".
Goodreads makes it really easy too, if you usually write reviews here (as I do) - once you post your review, on the confirmation page, you can click on the "Blog this review" tab, and it gives you the bright shiny HTML and review text all pretty so you just have to cut&paste it into your post. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. :)

Anytime! I just learned that myself the other day when a bug was reported that it wasn't working in the Feedback group. LOL (It's working now though.)You just never know what you might find there. :D

I created a list gadget on my sidebar for that... it's really easy, but it can get long. Some people have a blog roll on a dedicated page (which is another gadget), you'd just have to add the pages gadget, and then add the html links. Either way is pretty easy. :)
How did you get the star rating on your sidebar? I love it!
Thanks Becky! I'll have to look into that, and play around with it a little! Amy, thanks! I'm glad you like it! That is a variation on the way I rate books when I'm talking to my friends (What did you think?! Meh, it was aight I guess...) So, I added a text gadget on the side and just typed my own rating system into it. It's not perfect, I still need to adjust some of the names a little, but it's basically functional now.

I just did the HTML tags for stars in the HTML/Java Script gadget on the sidebar for mine: & # 9733; (all run together) = ★

Every Monday, I write a post about a book I remember reading from childhood that has a particular memory associated with it. I was browsing your blog (very pretty btw!) and noticed some annoyances that I wanted to give you feedback on :)The side scrolling on some of the areas is a huge no no in the website design world. And while one of the places I was able to move the bottom side scroller, on the other place I wasnt and so what I was typing and part of the post you had up was cut off and unreadable.
Just wanted to let you know that was happening.

Ok the first one is obvious, but the second one.. where it scrolls is in the place where you actually type in your comments for the fairy tale event you have going on. Your words are cut off above that box as well as when I type in some comments toward the end of the sentence I cant see what I am typing anymore since it goes off the grid lol
