Thanks again guys!

All of this blog talk is making me want to start one...."
That's why I did :)
Actually, it's kinda nice. I finished my last book, gave it a star rating, and then went to write a review on my blog... I had to really think about why I gave it what I did, instead of my usual flippant "oh, 3 stars".

Hey, thanks!! Good to know!! I'm still trying to figure it all out :)

You just never know what you might find there. :D

Thanks for the input too! I'm having such a good time with this! Now, I need to figure out how to link the other blogs that I look at/read on the side of my page. I haven't quite figured out all the fancy stuff yet...

Amy, thanks! I'm glad you like it! That is a variation on the way I rate books when I'm talking to my friends (What did you think?! Meh, it was aight I guess...) So, I added a text gadget on the side and just typed my own rating system into it. It's not perfect, I still need to adjust some of the names a little, but it's basically functional now.
I had a lot of fun with it so I'm glad that you've been enjoying it! Thanks again!

& # 9733; (all run together) = ★
& # 9734; (all run together) = ☆
Repeat for your rating. :)
I'm sure that there are different ones if you look, but I like these - they are simple and cute. :)

It's just a fun little contest/word 'game' that I thought would be a fun way to thank everyone for reading and celebrate (with myself, if need be) that I've successfully and happily made it through my first month!
I hope to see you over there to help me celebrate!

Come check it out! I'm giving away TWO copies for Jennifer Echols newest release Forget You.
Click HERE to come check it out!

(Tell me you know me from here and I'll give you an extra entry!! :) )
You can find the post about it HERE.

So, I would LOVE to have any and all of you lovely Wild Things share your bookish memories with me and my readers!
I'm really flexible, so it can be about anything as long as it's a book or story or author or someone reading to you etc and the memory that goes with it.
If you do want to post something with me on my blog, you can contact me in whichever way is most convenient to you, and we can work out the details!
You can email me (basicallyamazingbooks [at] gmail [dot] com), you can send me a message right here on GR, or you can go to the blog post asking for guest bloggers and fill out the little google docs form I included. (Follow the link right here!)
I'd so love to hear from you! I'm excited to see what memories you have of reading!

You can either email me at basicallyamazingbooks [at] gmail [dot] com, send me a GR message (if it will let you) or click the link in the above post, which takes you to my blog. I'm excited to work with you!

The side scrolling on some of the areas is a huge no no in the website design world. And while one of the places I was able to move the bottom side scroller, on the other place I wasnt and so what I was typing and part of the post you had up was cut off and unreadable.
Just wanted to let you know that was happening.

Ok the first one is obvious, but the second one.. where it scrolls is in the place where you actually type in your comments for the fairy tale event you have going on. Your words are cut off above that box as well as when I type in some comments toward the end of the sentence I cant see what I am typing anymore since it goes off the grid lol

Welcome to the blogosphere:)

If you are interested in guesting for me, I'd love to hear your memories of Sweet Valley High!

Ashley, if you will send me a message about the blog requirements (i.e. length, date needed, additional information required) I would love to guest blog for Memory Monday!

I'd love to guest blog, too. I've never had a guest blogger, but I'll put out that invite.
The url is http://basicallyamazing.blogspot.com/
and the title of my blog is Books from Bleh to Basically Amazing. I have my own rating scale using terms and phrases that seem to be a regular part of my book-speak, and I thought a blog would be a great place for it.
It's brand new, so there isn't much to it yet, but I would love feedback from people- areas for improvement, ideas for additions, or just plain comments and thoughts.
Thanks everyone!
