Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to the group and the genre as well, but I'm always interested in new things. I'm 30, around the same age as a lot of others I see here, which is interesting considering the genre. Lots to see here, glad I joined!

Oh yah he is perhaps my favorite writer. I'm going to start reading "Hardboiled Wonderland and the End of the World" very soon.
Hi, Nick! I'm new too.I'm 35. But YA literature isn't about age; it's about people who believe that they can do big things against all odds. When I was a teenager, many adults told me that I was too young to do anything worthwhile, but I didn't believe them. And I still don't believe them.
I guess I read YA because I believe in my dreams. Does that make sense?
lol it does say "grown up" that's the trick... no chronological youngins allowed... much.oh and hey!!! Welcome i'm a fellow newb!
