I would be totally honest with everyone here.
I loveD twilight. Notice the capitalised letter 'D'.
A friend of mine recommended the book. I read the first book in one night.
I got addicted to it that by all means I went to the city to get the second one. Unfortunately I was only able to purchase the third book, when the fourth was not published yet.
I even got to the point when I kept pestering Angus and Robertson on that same day for the second book. Even the manager checked the warehouse to see if they recieved their order of a box full of New Moon. And I rejoiced when they did.
*please read first before you do anything.
I got to the point when I could not wait for the 4th book to come out. I reserved it, treasured the book once I got it and recieved extra merchandise for reserving the book.
After I read it my friends were all convinced I was a Twilight Lover to the Maximum.
I even convinced them to book a ticket for the premiere with first class seats.
Then... I came upon a crtic who criticised the saga. At first I was completely outraged...
but because of my open nature, I learned to accept her opinion.
Days and nights I contemplated on the book. Why did I like it?
Was the book even good? You know? All those sorts of questions...
My friends from the Philippines are also crazed by the saga as much as I did. Thank goodness I am now living in Australia so their opinions and guaranteed convincing to like Twilight again would not get to me.
I realised... man. Why did I even get addicted to this book?
Sure I was addicted to it, but I guess in Psychological means, people are attracted to what they are forbidden. In example the romance of a vampire and a human- Edward and Bella.
Going back to my story,
Bella was supposed to come up as naive and strong, but with the new perspective I realised that the only strength I see in her would be the strength of her sex drive with her hubby.
Here are a few things I have realised.
1) Bella is a very confusing character. She is either plain or beautiful. Which is which?
2) Edward... well he's just too much to deal with. 'I can't think of you as a target' refer to the 4th book when he and Bella were practising her 'shielding' powers.
3) Stephenie Meyer rushed the fourth book. I was on the edge of my bed, technically speaking, trying to see when the action will begin. Alright... the Volturi will attack. A few minutes later some guy decides to break it saying that he is the same as Renesmee. Volturi walks off, crowd goes wild.
Where's the action you have been planning for?!
4) During and after Bella's honeymoon, Rosalie and Emmett were kind of having a competition with Edward and Bella to see who is the wildest when it comes to sex. 'Rosalie and I have torn buildings during our sessions blah blah blah....'
It's just stupid.
5)Ending: 'A time for celebration'. Yeah... go ahead Edward. Since you and Bella don't need sleep anymore and have extremely strong and weird libido, might as well f*ck the whole night and day away until the Volturi comes back for your heads. Seriously... their so called sex scenes are quite OTT... if not UTB. Under the Bottom. I know... a stupid way of making antonyms.
6) The fourth book was completely... stupid. Sorry Ms. Meyer. But I really think you did not think the book over.
END OF LIST.
I am OK with Twilight but a little bit on the negative side. I also have a huge crush with Robert Pattinson. I am not one crazy fan girl that wants him all to myself, but I actually think he and Kristen Stewart are going to be a cute couple.
One major problem with her acting is the lack of emotion and the lack of proper expressions. She looks dead to me. She is beautiful, in my opinion but she needs to sharpen her recquired skills in her career.
I would probably just add more of my insights when they all come to my head.
And no, my friends respect my opinion as much I respect others'.
I hope this post has reached your standards to be posted on this thread.
I apologise if it's too long. If I made any grammar mistakes, I apologise in advance.
English, after all, is my second language.
Feel free to comment on my post. ^-^

No worries! >.< I was just absolutely disappointed with Breaking Dawn the most.
So much for wishing that the Volturi will die and Bella and Edward's soft porn would damage Renesmee's innocence.
>.<
I could be sooo mean. ^-^

oh sweetheart you havent seen anything yet if you think thats mean!! lol
I agree with nearly all of your points--- Twilight seems OK until you get over your infatuation with Edward and realize that there is absolutely no plot, rising/falling action, climax (WHATsoever.), the characters are dull and one dimensional, ect.
Trust me I could go on lol
The whole Breaking Dawn thing was just sick to me. All the sex talk (in a TWEEN book) and gruesome birth scene....Stephanie Meyer mustof had a REEAAALLy bad trip or something to think up that shit.

I know, I really liked the books when I was a freshmen, then I read some better (or actual) literature, picked Twilight up again, and it was like, "WTF IS THIS!??!"
*burns book of fail*

hahaha lol! I love this forum! Not only do you guys hate twilight, you actually substantiate it with evidence! ^-^
If I had a dog, and the dog had a kid, and that kid had a dog, and that dog had a pet bug. That would be Edward.
*looks at Edward bug mating with Bella bug*
DIEE!!!!!!! *SQUISH* *GUNSHOT* *BURN* *SENT TO OUTERSPACE* *BLACKWHOLE SWALLOWS IT*
Mwahahahaha!

BUT IT DIDN'T. :(
And I realize that I purposely tracked down Twilight hate sites as soon as I saw this:

on Devart. It made me lol. Seriously
And, as I've always enjoyed seeing things from other people's point of view, so thanks for being around to wiegh out the shameless fangirls who give people who like Twilight a bad name D:

"This warning is not implied to people like Madz"
A WARNING TO ALL TWILIGHT LOVERS ON THIS SITE...
If you actually read the rules and regulations in a list called Internet etiquette...
It is rude and you have NO right to join in on our 'meeting' and express your so called opinions on us, saying that we are wrong.
For one, us twilight haters do have the same right to create a forum, website or any other electronic/personal venue as you twilight lovers do.
Number two, there is a reason why we created this forum... it is because we HATE twilight. If you LOVE twilight then... I guess you have to have your optometrist check your visual capacity, or maybe a shrink that could help find out your own mental capacity in figuring out two complete antonyms.
Number three...
If you could so kindly check your own forums, I don't think any of our members in this group would have wasted their time in convincing your members to hating it.
Look who's showing ignominy...
Number four...
If you want to express how much you like this saga, then be respectful towards 'our' side.
A forum is not a debate area unless it is specified that there is a possible access in gaining a debate. Last time I checked... this site was specifically called twilight haters.
There are no indication of inviting others to express a different opinion and cast out a very unprofessional debate, if you so kindly spared your time in convincing us. But as I have said, if you do want to express your side of the story, feel free- as long as you actually substantiate it and not attack us like a headless chicken.
If you are actually mature enough, and I am talking about your mental maturity most specifically, then you wouldn't be on this site talking like some uneducated moron. I will keep this person's anonymity within this comment. But I do have the feeling that us twilight haters already know whom we're talking about.
Mind learning grammar darlings? (Well some of you need a grammar check. Some of you don't... THANK GOD!) Changes in this decade surely has made their generation of teenagers into complete... er... ludricous individuals. Don't tell me I am an old geezer, I am 18.
I think that is one of the reasons why they can't seem to get a good grasp of what an acceptable and apropriate literature would be like. You could think that the Twilight saga is the best literature, I have no problems with that. The problem arises when you trespass in our domain of twilight haters.
You think I have no right in calling someone a moron? Well take a look at what you guys actually typed... freaks? I don't think so. Your so called and self proclaimed boyfriend of a discoball, term for Edward Cullen copyrighted by moi, would obviously be more than a freak compared to us. Maybe I am denoting the actual person who gave us an incorrect use of a term and or the person who thinks that calling a fictional character their boyfriend would be more of a freak than what they have accused us twilight haters of.
Surely you must see my point... if not... let me put it this way.
Leave.Us.Alone.
There... written in a perfect translation for those who don't understand.
This can sound mean... but if you really want to share your opinion be respectful or leave us alone.
Last point...
what are you doing here?

I actually love this article. Seriously. How can one woman be so right??
And really, how much is Stephenie Meyer a huge Fruits basket fan? except of course that Bella isn't even an EIGHTH of the awesome of Tohru. And Edward doen't turn into a cat. *sad face*

Although I find it humurous how almost every teenage girl obsesses with Edward, but after a while I just want to slap them and say "EDWARD Is NOT REAL!!! AND HE NEVER WILL BE!! GET A FREAKIN LIFE!!!!"

And Jake I like Edward and I doubt your girlfriend would like to know that you're slapping girls (which by the way, I hope you're not really doing). Oh, and I have a life, too. Plus you don't know, there are loads of Edwards in the world, so technically he is real (well, if you don't include the part of him being a vampire....)
