Then Twilight.

Just because someone can cobble a sentence together, it doesn't mean they deserve to be anywhere else than ff.net.

What makes me mad is that there are no doubt plenty of good horror writers out there that I would love to read who don't get published.

That is not just Twilight's fault, however. I didn't like "The Da Vinci Code," so I'm unlikely to enjoy "The Eden Scroll" or whatever replica is out there now. Since when did a genre become a brand, anyway?

I disagree, Vampires (although they originated as a scary story) have become sex symbols in the modern day. They have gone from night crawling deformed demon possessed beings to ridiculously sexy (not sparkly)seductive, beautiful creatures. They may flip back to horror and then again they may not. But for now vampire books = paranormal romance for the most part.

Actually, we have read the books (or at least attempted to) and we do understand it. Some of us use books as a form of escape, but we use good books. And we are not jerks or idiots.

I have NEVER read ANY of the Twilight books (im contemplating NOT capitalizing it...) and I NEVER intend to due to the fact that my school has been taken over by popular douches (guys and girls) who are in freaking love with that stupid series!!! I HATE THEM AND I HATE TWILIGHT!!! WORST FUCKING SERIES EVER!!! Seriously, I learned all I need to know about it by hearing all the idiots talk loud at lunch and in the library...UGH! That series sounds like a load of fucking crap and disgusting and revolting romance...I swear, I USED to think vampires were cool, but as soon as that piece of shit of a series came out, I wanted to claw my eyes out every time I saw one of the books in the series. i have a weird way of checking out books to see if they are worth my time..so since my friends wont shut up about its such a great book this and that. I love them but sometimes >.> i wonder, well anyways. I read the last part of each book and or at least tried. Thats how crappy they are and i couldnt finish the first page..I tried watching the movies and i felt asleep. I just dont see the romance, or plot to this story. Its just crap every time you flip the pages. Some of today's vampire books are just an abomination.

Twilight is every where I go, I cannot escape it. It makes me very, very angry to see it everywhere. I wish we could bring Bram Stoker back from the dead so that he could write another vampire story that would blow Twi-crap away!!!

Twilight is a horribly written book, I won't criticize Stephenie Meyer because I think she does have the potential to be better. And seeing as I haven't read The Host I really have no right to criticize her overall writing ability.

The thing about Twilight is its too perfect, Bella's the quiet loner that is suddenly the most popular girl in school. The guy that no girl could get is suddenly interested in Bella and she takes his stalkerish moves as if he was serenading her or doing something so romantic. Even then, the worst thing that happens to Bella is probably being bitten by James, otherwise, the rest of the story is worrying about what'll happen to people. I mean, someone important should've died in Breaking Dawn. Stephenie Meyer kind of wimped out and let everyone live and called off the epic war that was building up with the Volturi.

Aside from that, she has the two dominant types of male that girls fall for, the masculine and the quiet, Jacob and Edward. I think it was very smart for her to do that, to appeal to a majority of the girls out there, and its worked really. The girls have completely fallen for her trickery and Stephenie Meyer has come out gleaming. I thought to appeal to the guys she'd add a lot of gruesome torture or vampires with better powers, but now its obvious she was just going for the easy shot.

Another thing that could've been changed is, if she'd shortened the plot for New Moon, it could have been collaborated with Eclipse so there was some decent action in there (even though it wasn't described in the book.) And then I think she could've made Bella's baby into one book, with her awakening as a vampire at the end, and the Volturi in another book (with an actual war of course.)

So, like I said. I don't want to criticize her writing seeing as a everyone can change and improve. And although Twilight is selling like mad, it isn't one of her best books..

So what do you do when a vampire dumps you? SO first you use up all your college money on some new motorcycle parts. Then you get your friend to fix an old motorcycle (which takes up a lot of his time), then , when it's finished you go drive it into trees repeatedly to get the vampires attention. But than doesn't work and since you're in trouble with some other vampires you get a pack of werewolves to protect you and when you get tired of sitting on the beach while others are risking their lives because of you you jump off a cliff and let your sparkling boyfriend (who's supposed to be a vampire but looks like a gay fairy) save you like he always does.
