Yes, they are. (Congrats!) I don't have wall shelves, I have four bulit (two holding books, one holding a box with books, and then one with yearbooks & such) into my desk/bed, and then two shelves holding booksin my dresser.
Nat- seriously! It would take up a heck of a lot less space with a bookcase- and she could use the shelves you currently are holding up with books!

YES!At Goodwill, they have a bookcase for $8! I am very happy. :) It's quite small, but it will be better than nothing! I'll post a picture late when and if I get it!

Oh. So I got a bookshelf. It's small, so I wasn't able to fit all my books and some are pilled on each other, but I'm happy with it.
