Help! I can't remember the name of this book...

Hi, I need help finding a book. There is a scene in it where a women is auditioning to be a stunt woman. During the audition, she is having to do a fight scene with the man that has the leading role in the movie. While they are fighting, he pins her down, and causes her to have a panic attack and she hits him and the nose and causes it to bleed. I also remember that she has to stay with him because he gets her to play the leading female role instead of being just the stunt woman, and wants to make their on screen chemistry look real. He also winds up having to protect her, because someone is after he.

The problem might also be occurring if Jilly B is on a mobile phone. The goodreads mobile app does not have options like Reply, add book/author. Even logging in via the browser on the phone doesn't work. To use those functions, you have to log in via a PC.
That is correct...I may need to take the plunge and get a personal pc so I can take full advantage of the options!
Hi All, I am searching for the title of a Lynne Graham's book that begins with the h in hospital and malnourished (I think). The H, who was her ex (from a few years ago) had been searching for her and finally tracks her down at the hospital.And they get back together. Their back story is that the H and h met in an elevator (h was much younger but her older experienced sister knew the H first and wanted him). H and h begun a relationship and somehow due to lies, orchestrated by the h's sister, they broke up.

I'm looking for a book I read many many years ago. it was a Harlequin but not sure what series. I think the H's name was Luke but not 100% sure. It was set on a ranch or or sugarcane plantation. I remember near the end of the book the heroine realizes she s in love with th H when a fire breaks out in the fields or town. The H is out fighting the fire. The heroine takes care and feeds the men who are out fighting the fire. After the fire they get together.

Unfortunately its not Outback Fire or Hot November. I still need to read the other 2 but they don't sound like it. The H's name might not have been Luke. I think this book was out in the 90's. I do remember that the hero was trying something new with the crop and the fire could destroy all the hard work. The entire town came out to help with the fire. I believe the fire was started by a man I just can't remember if it was on purpose or by accident. The man was a jerk in the book.

In search of a shorter than normal book possibly from the 90's. The h has been living as the H mistress after resigning her job as his secretary. She becomes pregnant and is set to leave him since he rejects all love and attachments. He is emotionally damaged because he was literally abandoned in the garbage as a newborn and had a rough life in foster care. There is a memorable scene where the h arranges a reunion between H and the caring foster mom who took care of him in his teens.

it was a harlequin temptation. Men were not extinct however. Nice story ( a favorite of mine so I kept a hard copy of the book) but the ending left you wondering.

Does anyone know of a time travel romance where the heroine comes from the far future where..."Umm this probably doesn't fit, but there's this one novella by Nora Roberts Once Upon a Kiss (It's the first one in that anthology) that seems to have similar elements. The heroine seems to travel across different worlds till she comes to the hero's, and one world she goes to seems to have no men. As in, they probably exist but aren't mentioned.

Searching for a book I think from the 90's about a woman who marries an actor. He has to film a movie so they end up spending their honeymoon on location I think in Scotland or some kind of Mountains/European location. I remember she is pregnant but doesn't know it and goes for a hike, there is some storm and she is stranded with some other guy in a tent. Eventually a search party finds them, the husband assumes she wasn't faithful and it turns out she loses the baby. That is about all I can remember.

Hi I’m searching for a book were the h is a children's book writer and the H is from money. he has an interest in her and they go to the races but she doesn't have anything to wear so he drops her off at the mall. I think they also went to a Thai restaurant the night before. he finds out she is a famous writer and gets upset with her cause she lied to him about it. she disappears only to find out she was pregnant. he tracks her down months later and finds out she was pregnant and yells at her, cause her to go into labour. Hey I’m hoping someone knows this book. The h and H were in love. He had to go away for something. During that time his father came to see her and told her that the H was getting married to someone else-he had a wedding invitation with him (fake). The h leaves. Fast forward. The h has a little boy and lives with her grandfather - who is a very wealthy tycoon of some sort. The H and his father have a business appointment with the grandfather (want him to help them out, invest in their business). The grandfather knows who they are and has no intention of helping them. The h walks in on the meeting and backs out quickly. Goes to wait for her grandfather. The H and father are upset that the grandfather won't help them out. When they leave the meeting they see the grandfather getting into a car with the h and a little boy. They go back to their hotel and the father says something like - I didn't know that she was part of that family. He thought she was poor and not good enough for his son. The H finds out his father's meddling.
The H goes to the grandfather's house and tells him that he didn't know what his father had done in the past and didn't know about the child. The grandfather believes him. He speaks with the h and they have a HEA.

I remember reading a book in the that starts with the h having dinner with her boyfriend that wants to marry her but she needs a divorce from her husband the H. I remember it was different because the wannabe fiance was a handsome, successful business man and not a loser wannabe OM. In the end she reconciles with her estranged husband the H who of course refused the divorce. Does that ring a bell for anyone?

I need help finding two HPs. Have vague recollections about both book. Actually can recall only one scene clearly. Can’t remember if they are vintage or contemporary.1) Don’t know if it’s set in England or outback or ranch setting. Hero lives in this huge mansion –or is it a manor?-- with his younger brother –perhaps he's his step-brother—and mother/step-mother.
The heroine meets the brother first. Either they knew each other before –don’t think they were romantically involved--or she met him when she goes to their place in answer to a job advertisement. I think it’s the latter. In any case the brother offers her the job working for the Hero taking hero by surprise. It’s a live-in position.
The H-h are at loggerheads at the start but during her stay heroine begins to realize he’s very responsible and hard-working whereas the younger brother is lazy and thoroughly spoilt by his mother. She even scolds the younger brother for not taking some responsibility off his brother’s shoulders.
Now, coming to the particular scene I clearly recall
Hero has put the younger brother to work under his foreman/ranch hand who’s treated like a family member. The brother plays truant everyday until one day, while the hero is travelling, the foreman yells at the brother They have a heated argument and the foreman collapses with heart attack. The brother freezes. heroine comes to the old man's rescue. She sends the brother to telephone for medical help while she tries to revive. The old man makes it and is hospitalise. Hero is grateful to the heroine.
That’s all I can recall, but not being able to recall the name of the book is killing me. So please help.
2) Hero-heroine are married. Not sure if they were married before and separated and then got back or it’s a MOC. Know for sure Heroine and mother-in-law don’t get along well.
Again, the only scene that I can recall is Hero announces to his wife and mother that he’s travelling on work. Heroine offers to pack his bag since he has to go out on urgent work. Heroine and MIL end-up having a heated argument when hero enters the room and says “Just what a tired man wants to see on his return home his wife and mother fighting.” Something like that.
