Kerry had betrayed his trust
Four years ago, Alex Veranchetti, a strong-willed Italian tycoon, had abruptly ended their marriage--wounded by the dreadful wrong he thought Kerry had done to him. Now he was back in Kerry's life, and intent on remarrying her for the sake of their son.

I ended up giving this five stars because there was such a WOW factor on the reveal at the end. I did a complete 180 on Alex. He was giving me a serious a-hole factor for a lot of this book, and by the end, I really 'got' him, and I just wanted to hug him.

I guess because I am getting older, I am less enchanted (if I ever was) with the dewy, very young heroine. I started out sort of rolling my eyes (in a "Yes, I'm a fan of this author although I'm not feeling this plot element" fashion) at Kerry

I just re-read this and came to write a review as I did not do it the first time. Probably shock and disgust.

This was as stomach churner and has one of my least favorite tropes, the innocent idiot suspected of adultery on the basis of convincing but flawed evidence. I'm not kidding when I say stomach churner.

For the last four years, the h has raised her little boy in England, divorced from alpha-Romero ex. An angsty marriage had led to increased tension between the lovers, and the h visits her s

Very strong story by LG. It had quite a few different elements and the story all hung together very well, so good plotting. I particularly enjoyed how angsty the heroine was when she thought she had done the bad thing and how realistically she perked up when she found out the truth. I had fun reading about the cold hero who had thrown her out without a hearing 4 years before. I loved to see him come to terms with his feelings for her.

I continue to be a fan of LG.

I do like the older Lynne Graham's much better than the newer ones. The H in this one was typically arrogant and controlling, but not a bad guy. I enjoyed watching him seethe in frustration when his schemes didn't go as smoothly as he'd planned.

***spoilers***

The H believed the heroine had gotten drunk and slept with another man at a party while she was pregnant with his child. He was furious, so he refused to ever see or speak to her again. Although, they did communicate through lawyers and he

I'm actually not in the mood to read anything right now, but there's something about the blurb that caught my attention or maybe because Lynne Graham is a favorite mine. For whatever the reason, I'm glad I've read it.

It's been four years since Kerry's husband Alex divorced her after believing that she slept with other man whilst pregnant with his baby. She begged him to listen to her but he refused to see or speak to her. For four years, they only communicated through his lawyer. But when she an

This is one of those classic HP angsty reads...that you just can't put down till you finish it. If that's your cup of tea, then you need to read this book. Kerry and Alex were married...she was a very young teenager and he was a mature jaded man. Throw in a jealous sister who purposely manipulates them and you have one very powerful novel.

Alex was just one cruel unbelievable bas@#$% who ruthlessly tosses her out of his life when he finds her in bed with another man. Fast forward a few years, an

Let me just remind you’ll, hero’s celibacy: cause little guy had performance issues. Nothing to do with undying love for heroine.

Finally got back on the horse again with a Lynne Graham book I read many years ago. This book is exactly why I've been such a fan of Lynne Graham's book for so many years and why I was so disappointed with her duets books where the hero is physically unfaithful to the heroine.
Alex married Kerry when she was only 18. He had fought against his attraction to her because he knew she was very young. So in one way he wasn't surprised when she went of the rails while visiting her model sister and was f

I couldn't believe how easily they were both manipulated by the step sister. She was way too young at the time, fresh out of school, but I expected more from Alex. He was jaded and he allowed his insecurities to fog his brain. I thought they forgave the step sister way too easily.

I love classic Lynne Graham and this one is a winner.

Eighteen year old Kerry meets and falls head over heels for thirty-something Alex. He's gorgeous, powerful and sexy as hell. And he tried so hard to resist his attraction to the teenage Kerry, but when he finds another man in her apartment, he claims her by taking her virginity and marries her.

It all went downhill after the honeymoon when Alex leaves Kerry with his disapproving family and goes off to his normal life. In frustration a now pre

Don't let my meh rating for this deter you from reading what you might find a really enjoyable book. I felt a little guilty putting on a 3 star rating because my lack of thorough enjoyment had to do with my frame of mind while reading it. I was just so irascible I hated how everything dragged on, and while it was well written, I still couldn't stomach that she just wouldn't tell Alex the truth. Even if he won't believe you (which I think he would have eventually) say the God-damned words. It wou ...more

'When I saw you in that hospital, I knew it wasn't over. I looked at you,' he cited in a husky, accented growl. 'And I knew I had to have you again. You're in my blood like a fever and I'm in yours.'

Too much feels! This is one of the best Lynne Graham books that I've ever read. Hero was your typical alpha but you'll surely love him in the end!

Hmm... not for me, I'm afraid. It just seemed so dry... almost devoid of the tense, passionate scenes that I know LG for.

There was definitely a lot of introspection and inner monologuing, but almost to the point of too much. The couple lacked trust and communication, even though the mud slinging and palpable attraction were certainly there. Speaking of attraction though: she said "no", but he just kept going. That... just made me so incredibly uncomfortable. Surely that is rape, even though her

I would give this 4 stars for the Hero alone. but bcoz i damn well hate the heroine, i reduced the stars to just 1. yes! ladies n gentleman, i freaking hate the heroine. and not bcoz she is a doormate, nope! she's not, that's not even her role in this book. she's no where near a doormat but i freaking hate her bcoz of her wrecking brain.

bcoz im a girl, i'll reversed the condition in this book into my perspective, so, this book was basically like a 30 y.0 something women, get married to a justin

The H was a non trusting alpha character. His growth seemed genuine, learnt through hard lessons of trying to win the h over. She started out with all my sympathy but her contrariness just drove me batty. If he forced her she was 'this is revenge..blah blah blah', when he does something nice 'it suits him to do this' and when he lets her go it's 'he doesn't care'. Now some of those instances work but really almost all instances her thought processes were frustrating. By the end the H had all my ...more

What a BEAUTIFUL and STORMY love-story!...geez,this one i will never forget!

Reunited husband and wife-type of romances is one of the most intense ones in my opinion. It has so much painful emotions that can lead to anything and destroy everything.

This book has many positive reviews, and i am not surprised.A humble, hardworking mother who are in torture under a guilt she has done, and a passionate hero who still love his woman and will do everything to get her back.

This book was a hard read it was like reading The Unwanted Wife but minus the passion I don't know if you can say this book is adult. I mean it was like watching a film with your family and when a sex scene came up the parents would fast forward and say they had sex. I know it sounds weird that I'm complaining about that . You may even the girl looking for smut . But no that is not the case I have read clean romance books before. Its just it never sat well the author showed deeply passionate rel ...more

This heroine was too stupid to live. How could she let her EVIL sister get away with so much manipulative bullshit? I hate insecure heroines who let these dirty bitches treat them like shit and wreck their lives and don't fight back. I love Lynne Graham's novels but the only way I would have given this more stars would be if the evil dirtbag jealous slut of a sister got some kind of punishment for what she did to the heroine and hero. Damn but Lynne Graham is sometimes as holy as Jesus when it c ...more

An excellent read.....packs a powerful punch!

4 years before Alex finds his naked wife in bed with another man and is burning mad and so very hurt. He runs away and doesn't listen to a word she has to say.....and divorces her.

Really kind of pisses you off - him not talking to her for 4 years...but then he is a super sexy alpha male so he is always right? Men! Kerry has tried to move on with her life and has devoted herself to her adorable son and her job. Until Alex storms back into her life and

3.5 stars to be more precise.

Rich boy, poor girl. They marry young, she gets pregnant. He is duped by the girl's jealous older sister into believing that the girl had an affair. He dumps the girl without knowing that she is pregnant.

The catch here is that the sister duped the girl herself into believing she had a drunken night of debauchery!! So the poor heroine is carrying the guilt all along.

Cut to a few years hence. The guy sees his kid, blows his lid! Offers a re-marriage of convenience at t

I spent a large part of the book thinking that the hero was an utter titweasel, only to have him turn out to be pretty fucking amazing. I'm not even joking. He actually acknowledges his issues and by the end, I'm pretty sure that they have managed to build a healthier relationship than they had before.

It doesn't hurt that his love confession is truly pathetic (in the sense that you want to steal him and carry him around in your pocket and cuddle him forever, not in the sense that it's a bad love

A most enjoyable read with a lot of angst. Knowing where the H is coming from, I quite adore him especially when he laid his heart out finally at the end. The h is strong and did put up quite a fight, which is a lot more entertaining than tstl doormat. I especially like the fact that the H does back off on using sex to overwhelm the h in the middle, giving me a good feeling and proving his claim that he really loves her a lor and would have wanted to be with her even without sex. I loved The Veranchetti Marriage by Lynne Graham and I can see why this was reissued not once but twice! Its a classic Lynne Graham with all the angst, intensity and a story that keeps you hooked throughout.

Alex is a a typical alpha hero but I loved him to my surprise. I thought I was not going to like him because of the way he left Kerry and the typical alpha characteristics he had (too much jealousy, not listening etc ). As the chapters progressed I disliked him more but the last chapters compl
