Syahira Zakaria | 2 comments I have been searching for years. I had the physical copy but I lost all my collections due to a flood in my library a few years ago.

I think it's Mills & Boons actually. It's 3 books in one about revenge or vengeance but I am only interested in one of it. It's about ex-lovers. H is millionaire and h is a reporter who went to interview him. They got snowed-in and worked out their conflicts.

Anyway, please help! Thanks in advance!

Long shot as this one doesn't come in 3 books in 1 but could it be Snowbound with the Billionaire (only the H/h are married but estranged and the H is billionaire and the h is a reporter)
or this one Mistletoe Wishes: The Billionaire's Christmas Gift / One Christmas Night in Venice / Snowbound with the Millionaire (the 3rd story has "Snowbound with the Millionaire by Catherine George, no idea if the h is a reporter or not)

I'm not quite sure if you're looking for one book of three, or one part of one book. The trilogy that springs to mind is:

I own it but have never gotten around to reading so unsure about being snowed in.

I have that same problem, haha. Luckily, I remember stuff like The Spaniard's Marriage Bargain because the heroine's name and the story premise were unique enough to stand out in my current collection.

Amanda | 1 comments Help Please , I'm looking for a book i read ages ago but I've forgotten the title.

Story goes something like this: Hero whose name is Justin leaves town after the death of his twin brother Jarred and some harsh words from his mom. Unknown to hero heroine is pregnant and has his daughter, hero comes back years later now a successful musician.

C | 44 comments [SOLVED] I've been looking for this one for ages. It's set in a desert kingdom. Years before the current timeline, h married her sheikh and they consummated their marriage in an ancient set of caves. Due to some reason or other (probably her being deemed 'unsuitable' by a courtier or his family member or the like), they separated and she fled back to her home country. Somewhere along the story, they find themselves back in the cave, bringing back memories of their time together.

Sethutty | 10 comments Hi, I am looking for a book in which the hero goes undercover as a janitor at an university biomedical department. The heroine is the sister of his best friend but she uses a different Surname so he doesn’t recognize her until later. She tells her family she’s studying hospitality but learning something else . She comes from an influential family , I think. A sd card is left in her sweater at a party with out her knowledge. Bad people are after her for that.

C | 44 comments [SEMI-SOLVED] Here's a challenging one to find. It's a Harlequin Presents. Heroine falls pregnant with royal h's baby and heir and she's forced to marry him. She finds refuge and solace in a quaint cottage on the palace grounds, which she prefers over the actual palace. And that's all I remember, really. I remember liking the writing and its dreamlike quality but the cottage setting really stayed with me.

Possible candidate: The Prince's Waitress Wife by Sarah Morgan. If this isn't the actual book, it's scarily close. Or I might be mixing up story elements from different novels.

C | 44 comments Looking for this Harlequin Presents. The hero is either a Prince or a King who's just inherited the throne to a small nation that's been through a civil war. At one point, H visits an orphanage and h was worried that her vehicle could've been a bombing target by rebel factions who were against the monarchy because of the abuses of his father, the previous ruler.

Halima Ma | 1 comments Hi everyone! I have been looking for so long for the following book, hope some one recognizes the story.
I don't remember any names, but it's about a woman who crashes in to a mans car, she then runs off. When she goes in for a job interview, it turns out this same man is her boss. To pay her debt she agrees to go with him to his family and pretend to be his girlfriend, after that a lot happens, and they get married
Really hope someone recognizes this!!!

message 4820: by C (last edited Sep 09, 2020 10:31PM) (new)

C | 44 comments [SOLVED] Ugh, I could've sworn I had this saved as I just read it the other day. H gives birth to h's child. He forces her to marry him. But all along, he's been on a single-minded mission to destroy his father for 'abandoning' him and his sick mother who died. The truth is that his father was unhappily married when he met his mother, but the wife wouldn't grant him a divorce until she could get a substantial payout so he had to build up his wealth. He'd been building the pink house he and his love dreamed about and haunted by the son he'd left behind. H tries to get h to see that revenge is a double edged sword and that things aren't as he thought they were. H gets into a car crash after h drives her away for meeting with his father and trying to set up a reconciliation.

Book: Baby of His Revenge by Jennie Lucas.

C | 44 comments [SOLVED] How bout this one? It's a Harlequin Presents. Years ago, H and h married young after H fell pregnant. His family were totally antagonistic towards her. h was always away on business and she had very few allies. His childhood friend, the woman everyone was expecting him to marry before he met H, was really good at playing nice but was cruel and vindictive when he wasn't around. She pushed H down a set of stone steps and H lost the baby. No one believed her side of the story. Heartbroken, she took whatever money she was offered and left to start a new life. Any ideas?

Book: The Italian Billionaire's Ruthless Revenge by Jacqueline Baird

message 4822: by Shine (new)

Shine | 19 comments Hey , I would really appreciate if I could get to know this books title.
It is a novel where a woman tries to warn the sheikh or some other hero about the boulder coming towards him but instead puts herself in front of the rock and gets injured. I think she or he might have been doctors and that when she wakes up she gets to know from the hero that she was asleep or in a coma for about 16 or 18 days.
Thank you in advance.

message 4827: by Pravana (new)

Pravana | 48 comments Hi
Bumping my earlier request -
Book 2
This book is set USA (probably Texas) and England.
Heroine’s father is a businessman in UK.
Past - She’s come to a ranch in US and is on a sort of working holiday. Her rich background is not known. The Hero (helping his money minded father in business?) and the Heroine are attracted to each other and they have a summer affair? The hero proposes? The hero’s snobbish and interfering father throws a spanner in the works and either tries to buy her off or make her feel guilty by threatening to disinherit the hero? Without contacting the hero for his POV, the heroine takes off and goes back to Daddy.

Present - Fast forward 5 - 6 years. Hero and his father arrive in UK for a meeting with the Heroine’s father for a prospective business deal. The heroine unwittingly walks into the meeting and on seeing the hero, walks out. After the meeting while exiting the building, the hero sights a little boy who calls out to his grandfather. Looking at the boy, the hero immediately recognises that the child is his flesh and blood. At the hotel where they are staying, the Hero and his father have a showdown and the Hero confronts his father about his interference and quits/ threatens to quit. After this I don’t remember.....

I hope that someone is able to help me out with the name of the book.

This sounds very similar to a book that I was searching for. The differences are that the book was all in the US. The h was living with her grandfather (her parents were dead). The H's father told her that the H was getting married and even brought a fake wedding invitation with him.

One of the posters identified the book for me - it was a Candlelight Ecstasy - By Love Betrayed.

Thanks for the quick response. It sounds very similar to the one I’m looking for. I’ll have to check this one out.
I could be mistaken, but one reading the book blurb, these are the differences that I perceive that could be there.
1) The heroine’s father / grandfather is based in UK.
2) The heroine’s name is probably Katherine?
3) And I seem to recollect that they probably had a summer affair, and not just one night.
Of course I’ll have to first see where it’s available and get my hands on a copy and read it to see if it’s the same one as I remember.

Thanks for the book suggestion.

C | 44 comments Here's double or nothing. Both stories are Harlequin Presents. Both involve antiques/well-loved items that the hero thinks should be junked but the heroine is highly attached to.

[SOLVED] 1 - h gave birth to H's baby without him knowing. He splashes her with his car, iirc, only to find its his former 'mistress' with a baby. The pram, he thinks, needs to be replaced, as it looks like its falling apart. But the pram belonged to h's dear friend and former nanny who raised her, and housed both h and baby when they had nowhere else to go. Unfortunately, the nanny died and the pram is the only thing h has left of her. Later, H - in typical obtuse fashion - donates it to to a charity shop (I think it was Goodwill), only to find he's deeply upset h and learns about the loss she experienced while coping with pregnancy and the baby. Edit: She was actually splashed by a passing lorry and by chance he was on the same road at the same time. She fell over and his car nearly hit her.

[SOLVED] 2 - h owns a really old, rickety Volkswagen Beetle (edit: actually a Mini) that's basically held together by prayer. At one stage, H is convinced he can throw money at h and he sends the beloved car off to the scrapyard, which of course, deeply upsets h because it's clear he doesn't know her at all.

Books:

1 - The Italian's Marriage Demand by Diana Hamilton

2 - The Brazilian's Blackmail Bargain by Abby Green

message 4838: by C (last edited Sep 09, 2020 11:16PM) (new)

C | 44 comments [SOLVED] Here's an interesting take on the amnesia trope from a Harlequin Presents. Hero marries heroine but he was always away and took her for granted so she was very lonely. After going out and partying with H's sister and his sister's guy friend, h falls asleep in their bed. H walks in to find the guy in bed with h who wakes up shocked and rendered mute at what's happening. They get a divorce (or separate and become estranged). Years later, H's sister gets into an accident and loses her memory and still believes the couple to be married and is wondering where her brother's wife is. Not wanting to cause any confusion, H asks h to come back and pretend they're still together for the sake of his sister (who deliberately caused the drama in the bedroom because she was jealous but the amnesia from trauma of the accident was based on guilt for separating them).

Edit: lol, I didn't think to type 'Anastasia' when I was searching for this book because I thought that was the sister's name when it's actually the heroine's.
