I am looking for a harlequin presents. Heroine leaves hero ( I think he has dumped her or is about to) she takes her jewelry and car (gifts from him) and leaves. He finds her several years later, she has had his child and has virtually lived off the sale of all her jewelry (I think she still drives the car he gave her). Thanks.

Here is another one I can't remember the title of , but enjoyed the story. I'm pretty sure it'a a HP. Heroine is estranged from husband (can't remember if their separated or divorced). She ran away and has been moving constantly so he cannot find her. She has had a child (he does not know about the child). One day she hears a noise in her house, finds her husband and his bodyguards in the house and ends up shooting her husband. He survives and the story goes on from there. I'm pretty sure she is in the english (Britain) countryside when her husband finds her. I also read one similar to this one but it was based in the States . I don't think that one was a HP.

I checked the vintage Penny Jordan but can't find it. I recall that she needed to have an operation for vulvodynia but did not do it at first until the end of the book.

Yes, that's the book. Thank you so much. I'm sure I read the
series but for some reason the first book is the one that stands out in my mind. I've just re-read it. Glad I have this group to turn to now when I want a "fix "of my all time favorite harlequin presents. Used to have a couple of thousand of them stored down the basement where I would just have to go and look for a familiar cover then re-read. My lovely children accused me of being a harlequin hoarder so I packed them all up and donated them to a charity. I've replaced a lot of them onto my e-reader and of course kept my most favorite HP in paperback form (maybe about 200 to 400 of them). However, it's not the same thing browsing through an electronic storage as it is going through the actual books. I store most of the e-books on an app I have, because even my e-reader cannot hold that many books. My kids are soooo right I am a HP hoarder :) Thanks again for the help.

I need your help to find a harlequin book published in the 1990s I read years ago. The setting is a ranch in Montana or Texas. The heroine come to work in the ranch as a young girl. She falls in love with the owner's son, but the son ignores her. When the owner dies, he leaves the ranch to her and the son, on the condition that they have to marry each other. The hero resists it, but he finally figures out he loves her when her horse falls during training (???) and gets tangle up in the wires along with her. He even wants to shoot the horse to save her.

Hi there Goodreaders. I have been searching and searching for a book. I believe it's a Harlequin. The heroine has a heart condition and is a widow. I think her deceased husband was a race car driver. He was freaked out by her heart condition and used that as an excuse to have affairs. I think the heroine worked at a family owned magazine company which was purchased by the hero. I think he had seen her in the past and fell in love with her. There's a scene where she falls asleep in her house and couldn't be woken by the hero. Also I think one of the hero's employees was her husband's doppelgänger which freaked her out. She didn't want to have heart surgery and was basically waiting to die until she fell in love with the hero."

The Revenge Affair by Susan Napier has the room mate is the intended escort but h goes instead. However, I don't remember any sports team reference.

In Aristides' convenient wife the h is BFF with the H's sister. They have a MOC because the sister is dead and left a baby. The H has a one last night with his mistress before he married the h.
