a married couple with a kid where the husband supposedly cheated while his wife was away. That story stayed with me for years because of the way it was written. A Hero who was unable to forgive himself for ruining his family based on one drunken night. A night he couldn’t remember and a heroine who was gutted and unable to forgive him – until we learn in the end that Hero never cheated and that the OW had lied! That book has stayed with me for years later and I can remember it literally word for word, especially how she wanted him to tell her minute by minute details of the cheating so that she could erase her mind of what she thought he did with the OW. She did not forgive or accept his excuses and I loved the fact that she kept saying that HE ruined THEM and their family. Not her.

I have heard amazing things about this book but it is not the one that I'm searching.
The one I read was about a couple who both were Air-force or Marine Pilots and they had an 8 or 10 year old daughter. They were both planning to retire and stay home to raise their kid and have more. The husband retired first and was home raising his daughter while the wife had 3 or 4 months to go and was away a lot.

The plot was that the husband was missing his wife and felt like a failure because he was the stay-at-home Dad while she was earning a living and living her dream. It was a convoluted thinking because they both agreed to retire and she just had a few more months to her contract.

Anyway, the husband ended up one night in a bar where he met a widow and she fixated on him because he looked like her dead husband. They started drinking and talking. He just felt at the time that he needed to talk to someone about his problems outside of family.
He ended up drunk and woke up in her bed naked. He didn't remember the sex other then that they were kissing.

It turned out in the end that the OW lied because she wanted to break up his marriage and live with her look-alike dead husband. She was sick.

The heroine, once she learned what he did (or thought he did as he told her right away), she was deeply hurt & pissed. His family (mother & brother) were on heroine's side and layed in to him. I remember there was some great dialogue about cheating that it is not a "mistake" but a choice and that once you cross that line, there is no coming back.

The hero falls in love with someone else (not sure if there was actual cheating) and asks the heroine for a divorce. She'd been in love with him at least for some time but after knowing he loves someone else, she wants a divorce. Problem is she gets pregnant, and the hero wants to stay together for the baby. He also falls in love with her, and puts in the work to convince her that his feelings are genuine and she should give him a chance.
Does anyone know what book this might be?

No, not that one. In the one I'm looking for the MCs have an okay-ish sort of marriage until the hero meets another woman and falls in love with her. He's not exactly a jerk about it, his marriage to the heroine was not about love and he's not doing any of this out of spite towards the heroine.

(solved When Chritakos Meets his Match Abby Green) I a(m looking for a book where H & h meet on a plane. There is some layover and the plane is delayed and h decides to take H up on his offer to see the area (probably Greece since it was an HP). They end staying together a couple of weeks. h is putting off dealing with debts her deceased mom, caused her aunt. Her Aunt is fragile and she trys to keep her calm over the phone by saying she has met a rich guy. H hears this and thinks she is a gold digger. Unknown H, h is pregnant and ends up going back to help aunt out while working 2 jobs as a waitress. Any help would be great. Thanks!

There his dad lives who is a bit grumpy. He refuses to speak French. The heroine plays chess with him and they become friends. Later they discover that the H’s dad does speak French and learned it from watching TV.

Guys please help, I have a tough one.

The hero is rich and I think the heroine works for/is heavily involved with some charity and is very socially conscious. She is critical of the hero's lavish lifestyle when that money could be put to so much better use.

It's either part of a series or one where the either of the MCs is friends with or related to people who are MCs in other books.

All I can clearly remember is that at the end these friends are talking about the heroine's fabulous wedding/engagement ring, and the fact that the heroine made the hero make a charitable donation matching the price of the ring.
That's all I remember.

I'm new to the group. I'd appreciate some help with finding a title of an old Harlequin Presents book. The one I'm looking for is similar to Anne Hampson's "Isle at Rainbow's End". There are some differences: 1) it's the hero's cousin who impregnates the OW (girl); 2) after a year or so of separation the heroine writes to the hero letting him know about her change in circumstances/name change and hand delivers it to the house where the hero lives with his wife; 3) she hands the letter directly into the wife's hands (needless to say the guy never sees the letter); 4) when they meet years later on an island the hero owns a hotel and has an 7-8 year old daughter (cousin's bio child). I am looking for a book where h and H are married I think for a couple of years(or more) and quite happy .When H returns from a business trip he gets a phone call on the home line and h picks up the extension by mistake and hears H’s ex thanking him for the dinner they shared and for the good time they had and also says she is looking forward to their next meeting. When h confronts H he admits he had dinner with his ex while on his business trip whom he bumped into . When h asks if it was only dinner H admits to having gone to his ex’s room for a couple of after dinner drinks though nothing happened . The Wakeup Call by Mysty McPartland.... sounds sort of similar to the scenario you noted. The H and h are not married but living together. While the H is out of town on business the h hears a voice mail from one of his ex's thanking him for their recent time together spent in New York and of course you find out he also returned to her hotel room after. Apparently he did things like this throughout their whole relationship and felt the h had nothing to be upset about.

Please help! I only read the blurb and I forgot to save it. It's been on my mind all day. h marries or pretends to be the love interest of her evil identical sister's guy(the H) and falls for him. He is initially puzzled by the difference in their characters but falls in love with the h. I remember it was explicitly mentioned in the reviews that the H and the evil identical twin NEVER slept together. That's why I like it so much and I can't believe I didn't save it.
