chelsea pennick (chelseaspring) | 1 comments Hey there,
Would y'all mind a distant member? I've been following the national YNPN (and EPIP and others), and was looking for a group that would be reading about nonprofit work both in terms of social change, but also the politics and experience of being in the field (and being Next Gen).

I'm a reader, but not a book clubber, so I'll do my best to keep up.

Hi Chelsea!
Thank you for your post! It would be great to experiment distant members for the book club - we can try to see if we can try to start a thread of comments and discussion on this board. Let me know which book you're going to read. we just had our event today on the environment book - Building the Green Economy - I'll be posting our next book soon!

Terri | 1 comments I just started reading Forces for Good (Crutchfield and Grant) and this group popped up as a potential group for me. I'm not in the Bay Area either but always interested in reading reviews of nonprofit management and related books by others, no matter where they live. Excited to see what everyone is reading and thoughts on books!

Morgan (morganmn) | 1 comments I'm also a long-distance member interested in development. I'm a current Peace Corps volunteer, so in-the-flesh book clubs are out of the question for me. Look forward to book suggestions and hope to see some online discussions.
