Grand Conspiracy by Janny Wurts is the fifth novel in the series 'War of Light & Shadow'. Post here if you plan to read this novel, are reading or have already read.

50-some pages in. I thought I was going to take a break from the series, but just couldn't with it sitting on my bookshelf. :)

If that happens, don't worry - many readers sweep straight through to find out what happens, then return for the slow take to savor. Whatever works.
In for my first read! Recently finished with Fugitive Prince and two short stories of the series...I don't think I could be more in love with this awesome series!
Seriously probably my all time favorite writer. Jannys stand alones are awsome reads too. Did a reread of To Ride Hells Chasm last month and I had forgotten how intense a book it was. Loved it.
@Colin To Ride Hell’s Chasm is a gem, my first introduction to Janny's fantasy worlds. I've also liked another standalone of hers, The Master of White Storm, completely different from Hell's Chasm, with a peculiar episodic structure in the first part and a convergence in the second, it is also a thrilling book if you have read the WoLaS series, because even though characters and story are different, you can see some themes of White Storm developed in the bigger series.Loving Grand Conspiracy so far!
The Cycle of Fire trilogy was great too. Been a long time since I've read it but I remember really enjoying it. Another favorite trilogy of mine is The Empire Trilogy she did with Raymond Feist. I think I've read that one 4 times over the years. Nice to see you enjoying it and you still have alot more to go!
