I've been part of Operation eBook Drop since its earliest days, and I must tell you that those thank you notes from service members made my day. Now that there are so many more authors and books in the program, the notes and "sales" have slowed down a bit -- but it still feels nice when it happens.

I came into the program later. I'm sure those of you who were among the first authors sending your books out received a ton of gratitude. Receiving those notes from readers, whether a part of OEBD or not, definitely makes for a feel good moment.
