How Many Hours, Days, Weeks, Months???
Day 12, but looking @ B&N as we speak
well... Ive got a couple still in the amazon cart..just need one more then I press "procced "to check-out" get free shipping..havent touched it yet...what control!! ( who bets on how long I last? )
B&N is having a great sale online! I may have to stop by the store to see if the sale is as good. I will try to make it to next payday to buy books because money is tight and there is a cd that comes out on Tuesday that I have been waiting for. I will see if I CAN make it to next payday to buy a book but thats two weeks away.

Mine was 85% off books.
I put some in my B&N cart last night, but haven't clicked on proceed either.
well the books are still in the cart..but chapters had "buy 3 get the 4th one free" WELL...dont they know about ladies like us??geeezzz...thats like waving a red flag in front of a bull!!! charge!!! III find something!...this is the time to get a "series" of something right?...no..had book 1 but not 3...couldnt find anything else I liked...ahh..come on..dont torture me this way. the 4th is free!( anyone saying..poor sandi yet?) OH WAIT!! I remember I wanted to always try Alyson Noel series ( YA )they are never at the library..and I have a members card so thats 10% more off! PAH..why not?....so the books in the amazon cart are still there..so I did good heh? (heh-is canadian when things are good) :) :)
Yes Sandi, they know about women like us. that's why they have these sales because they know we don' have a backbone when it comes to buying books. LOL
I'm down to a little more than an hour.

well my day started out ok..I avoided chapters..I had to do some "food" shopping & since I was out so early..well the car "took" me (so Im just going along with it mind you)to a used bookstore I havent been in a while..( ok..no one is buying that) I got 6 books..ONLY!...but they have sequels to some of them..so home I go to check amazon to see if I can get them..BAM! there put in the cart! on order!..Im so happy I could get them!...OH..I was out "food" shopping..wasnt I?? aw heck..who needs to eat!?

Drumroll please......... Day 6. Yes, ME! Can you believe it?!? I even went through a whole weekend and I'm not sweating, convulsing, or ready to chew my own arm off for a new book. If I make it through next weekend, this just might be another "Wonder of the World."

Well, I caved. I just got back from shopping and I bought Ghost Shadow by Heather Graham. A new series Debi!So I'm back to 30 min. LOL

Now that one I can see why you caved. I did to last month I put it on pre-order along with the second one too..LOL!! I would have put the third one on pre-order if they would have let me..LOL!! So as soon as Amazon.ca dings my credit card for this one I will be back to ??? as well..LOL!! I am so excited about this new series of hers. I can hardly wait to get my hands on it. If you read it before me let me know what you thing of it okay..smiles.

Okay my Credit Card get dinged yesterday for a book I pre-order
by Heather Grahamone of my fav. Authors. I will buy one of her books at a drop at a hat..LOL!!So I am back at Day 1 today..LOL!!

Trish, I do the same thing. Because I not buying books right now, I love the feel them. :)

well..I blew it. still had that buy 3 get 4th free at chapters...I tried...truly I did..it was the librarys fault! I went there to BORROW a book..which I did..started to read and it is so good I have to have the rest of the series..right? SO it was the LAST sale day at chapters....now Im running out of excuses :( so I think III just stop here..sigh
Went to B & N on Friday - my husband bought two books, we bought two books for my daughter, Makayla and I left with none. I don't think that has ever happened to me before - maybe I'm sick.....

LOL Debi!! I've lost track of the days but I know that it has been far too long. May have to visit the library tomorrow with the kids and venture upstairs to the "grown-up" section. It's suppose to be 100 degrees tomorrow so we will be staying in places with A/C. Have a good night all:)))
