I'm almost to a week! Of course, I have to go shopping today, so...telling myself to be strong and resist. My goal is to hold out until the 21st. That's 10 days total, which would be a new record for me, I think.

Oh, and if someone gives you the book for free does that count? I mean, do you have to consider it as a buy?

Nope, if it's a gift or bought with a gift card you are good. Only books you pay actual money for you have to count.

Well, I made it 3 months and 3 weeks and then I finally caved today. I;m hanging my head in shame. But in my defense, I told my husband I didn't want to buy any new books because I've made it almost 4 months and what does he do? He told me to get in the car he wanted to take me somewhere, that somewhere was B&N. Since I was there, and he gave me $46 dollars to spend on myself I couldn't hold back.

Seems I was getting on his nerves talking about books I saw that I wanted. LOL

@ Lisa on that is to funny..I am always talking about books to my hubby to and when we go shopping I show him the books I want..hoping one day he will remember and surprise me..don't know if I should let the hope go or not..LOL!!
