Nope, still holding strong at Day 5...I think...Nope, Day 4! :D Last bought on Sun, it's Thurs, that's...yep 4. Sheesh. Spring Break needs to be done so I can get my days straight again. Ha ha!
Its been months!!!! and i finally broke down yesterday.. i BOUGHT Hannah list because Ive been wanting to read it for a very long time and it was mothers day and heck i wanted to treat myself because i was having such a bad day so :P lol!so im like 17hrs:)
Sigh! I had to run to the store for milk and misc yesterday. So, of course, I chose to go to W-M and I just couldn't skip the book section. I bought Any Man of Mine. I know. I should've hit the convenience store. Bad me!
Thanks Debi.. Hope we can keep the record :) I need to get my Owned not yet read pile down to a minimum.. however long that takes.. :)
I am saving up for a getaway weekend so I don't have to use my credit card at all and have some spending money when we go too :D!!!
2 months and 3 weeks. I did look at some at the grocery store yesterday, but I was able (barely) to pull myself away.
I have been so good at day 32 of not buying a book and then I agreed to read one with a book club and so I am now back to day 1 again....
@Debi: me too, i'm saving up for a holiday as well, so i have to cut down on my book spending.. On my 26th day... and I even have a $27 voucher which I haven't even used yet..
Thanks Debi, back to day 1 again. Went to a consignment shop yesterday and how can I resist a book for less than $2.00???
It had been since my last payday (2 weeks) and I splurged today on The First Husband: A Novel for my Kindle.
I spent $30 at Goodwill yesterday! I walked out with a huge bag full of books though, including 3 audiobooks (
Honor Thyself,
1776,
Freakonomics CD: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything). I'm kind of excited that it included a hardback copy of
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, so I can finally finish the series. Also picked up an ARC of
The Replacement, which sounds quite interesting (the publisher's logo is actually what caught my eye - Razorbill, who also put out Vampire Academy, so I'm intrigued)
Lisa that is amazing...how are you doing it? I have so many books that I have no right to buy any more but I keep doing it....Congrats!!

I did manage to grab some for Mother's Day, but they were gifts soit is holding me over for now.
Nothing since May 28th - that's over a week...(though nothing compared to Lisa's 3 months *bows down*)
Hunh, I think I lost track. I know I bought 2 Dean Koontz Frankenstein books for my hubs, but I count them bc I'll read them. Anyways, I don't remember when that was...and I'm thinking I haven't bought anything else since...? Not sure. But I'll blow it this weekend either way, bc the library is having a PB sale. They're doing it so we have beach reads in our bags. How thoughtful of them. Ha! Nothing like encouraging book purchases to an addict.
