Hide Your Cameltoe With Strange New Panties, Camelflage
By: Connie Wang

Got a vagina, but don't want anyone to know? Check out the aptly named "Camelflage," a pair of $19.99 panties that have a built-in guard that smooths out your business. It's kind of like a nut cup for women (a taco shell, perhaps?) and is supposed to protect you from embarrassing moments where your vagina gets in the way of you having Barbie-parts. Though, here's an idea. If you're really horrified about the idea of cameltoe, how about you don't wear pants that give you cameltoe?

lol that's too funny. I remember a few years ago in college a woman had on a pair of tight leggings and EVERYTHING was showing in front. I mean... it was like she had on no underwear. It was really disgusting.

Irene Hollimon | 130 comments Guys can have camel toe too and it's not attractive... unless they're dancers and then I think they must put something down there to make it more... "more"

I've never had the opportunity to ask a male ballet dancer about their underwear.

I guess I've led a sheltered life.

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) Oh,your not the only one thats apparantly led a sheltered life Irene-the things we learn on the web.

Really shouldn't hate her over this. Lots of music is always downloaded etc. The makers probably are always pissed at least shes speaking up. Also considering authors probably make less then musicians...

Shes full time writer now, but will probably be a part time one soon enough due to circumstances.

Shouldn't scourn her it isn't fair.

hey, i mean if your goals to work at kfc. Most people consider those jobs belonging to high school students or dropouts. Considering the 10-20k a year pay.

I don't think anyones "goal" is to work at KFC, Matt. However, with the economy what it is right now I know LOTS of people who are working far below their skills level. Once unemployment runs out they take whatever they can get, and that includes working fast food if that's what it takes. Must be nice to be you and not have had today's economy humble you in any way yet.

getting the hardcore feeling your from the states. Im from canada its not that bad here. some stuff is selling less cars, etc, but it seems not enough to bankrupt the employees. thats good i imagine in comparison to whatever us is dealing with. havnt been following US's economy much to be honest. What you said is true, but that sterotype has been around for a long time. The author and I should probably of been more thoughtful due to the "situation" , but on the other hand it would be *kind* to overlook us using this common sterotype this time. As I said it has been around a long time and I doubt she was thinking about such reprecussions at the time. Lets assume she will not use it again outside of a book/private again till the end of the recession. She probably feels bad, but doesn't really want to get in a thread and lose face defending such and such about this.

Heather T (horrorvacui000) I don't know if she was just venting or purposely being an idiot, but I do know that what she says about pre-orders is true. While she shouldn't compair herself to LKH or JKR in any way, it does actually matter for authors. I heard P.C. Cast tell people that if they wanted to order it early then go ahead because she's happy you want to buy the book, but if you could wait it would help her out even more by getting her onto the Bestseller lists. If it's someone I really want to keep writing enough that I purchase their books then I try (although don't always succeed) to not pre-order. Authors do get money from library books as well. It's not much at all, but it's not absolutely nothing.

I hate companies that force people to wear khaki pants. They get dirty easily and they're either super thick or so thin you can see dark colors through them. Plus, I really don't think most people look good in khaki. Only a select few can pull it off and I'm not one of them.
Also, I really don't think the people who decide to use it as a uniform are female. Who wants to spend a week a month worrying about the fact that they're wondering around in light colored pants. `I'm surprised someone hasn't sued yet because of having an accident or something.

Irene Hollimon | 130 comments Good thing you didn't join the US Navy. They wear khaki and also white in the summertime. There are some people who really shouldn't wear either color especially BELOW the waist!

message 121: by Heather (new)

Heather T (horrorvacui000) I know. I've never had an issue besides finding them uncomfortable and hating them. And, spilling ketchup on the leg more than once. I had a boss once who dropped her soda and ended up with a big brown spot in her lap for the rest of the day. Then, I've had a few students who have had female type accidents while wearing khaki pants. You can't hide that. The Navy khakis are a little thicker, but white... good luck. I'd never survive. I thought about coast guard for a while, but my eyes are too sensitive to salt water so my swimming skills don't help me much when I can't get into the ocean. I've always been a little sad about that, but the reminder of white uniforms (although not worn a lot) just made me get over that. Thank you. =)
