Carol Neman | 469 comments How did you like Angels and Demons, Matt? Have you read the other two in the trilogy (so far) yet?

message 76: by [deleted user] (new)

I thought Angels and Demons was godawful boring. I didn't like anything about it at all. I had read "The Da Vinci Code" when it came out, and thought it was fun. I definitely feel like it was overrated, but it was at least a decent page turner and it had its moments. I just was bored to tears with 'Angels and Demons' though.

message 79: by Carol (new)

Carol Neman | 469 comments Ref # 76 - That's how I felt about The Lost Symbol...just had to skip ahead to the 'aha' part, and was gratified to find that I had guessed right at the identity of the evil protagonist. I did like the first two, tho.

Bill Bryson has written another book that I read reviews for, 'At Home, A Private History of Life' (I think, or something like that) which sounds absolutely wonderful...he is a new author for me, so will perhaps try Down Under too.

Carol Neman | 469 comments Matt, I've been following your reads, and haven't been posting any of my own...I should really do that in 2011. The 'best' and 'worst' lists are a good idea.

I have a blog that I blog about the sci-fi stuff I read, but especially focusing on self-published and relatively unknown writers. http://androiddreamer.blogspot.com
