What are you reading this summer?

Ohmigosh The Luxe is AMAZING! Generation Dead...I put it down. It was horrible, in my opinion. I didn't like City of Ashes, but that's probably because I didn't read CoB. Tell me if it's good.

In other news...HUSH, HUSH was great! Really enjoyable, despite the constant Twilight reminders. Patch beats Edward in my book...kinda sorta. He's still got his issues to work out...

Yes, I totally agree that The Luxe is GREAT! I just got the second one, Rumors, out at the library and can't wait to read it. I'm still finishing The Musician's Daughter right now but am so close to being done.

Alyssa, you HAVE to read City of Bones first or City of Ashes makes no sense. You should go back and read City of Bones. I LOVED that series and I can't wait for her new one to come out at the end of August.

Right now, I"m reading Ironside by Holly Black, then I will finally get to read Linger by Maggie Stiefvater.

Lauren & Alyssa, The Luxe books were fantastic!! I ate all 4 up in a matter of days!

I also have The Mortal Instruments series to read. I however 'have' to read series books in the order in which they are supposed to be read. My OCD won't allow me to jump around.

I am still trying to decide what to read at the moment.

I'm currently reading Prophecy of the Sisters and loving it! For school I should be reading All Quiet on the Western Front, but I'm avoiding it! I already read Linger and was my favorite book this summer, ahead of Thirteen Reasons Why and The Sky Is Everywhere, both of which I adored!

For middle schoolers, Ally Carter's Gallagher Girl series (I's Tell You that I Love You but Then I'd Have to Kill You is the first book) and Heist Society are fun. Also, Robert Muchamore's Cherub Series is action packed. (Thr Recruit was just re released in hardback)

The Hourglass Door and its sequel The Golden Spiral by Lisa Mangum were amazing! I also just read this book call Beastly by Alex Finn. I'm DYING to get the third Hunger Games! I preordered it in January!
