New Series by Rick Riordan

Rick Riordan, the author of the Percy Jackson series, has a new series going. The first book of the series, "The Red Pyramid" came out yesterday. Has anyone had a chance to get the book and read it? If so how is it so far? I definitely want to get the book and read it.

I just imputed it in my library q. I am 151 out of 46 copies. so by mid June I will have read it. I didn't know there was one! Thanks.

Rick Riordan is also making a new Camp Half Blood series. The cover was announced today!

I'm so excited. He says that it is in Percy Jackson's world and Percy has a part in the new novel. YAY!

I read this book this past month. I enjoyed it and have the unabridged cd schedule to come as soon as it's released. So far I like the Jackson series better, but I read all 5 together and that may have influenced my feelings on them. I've been listening to the cd's while in the car the past few weeks and think reading the books is way, way better. The reader on the Jackson series is a little hard to listen to at times. Can't wait for the next Kane book and my cd! I would def recommend to kids 12/14 and adults who like YA fiction. Easy to read, took about 8 hours max.
