WHO ELSE THINKS ALEX PETTYFER SHOULD NOT BE JACE?

I find him extremely attractive, but that shouldn't be the only reason why he should/should not be Jace. He needs to be a good actor and able to play the part.

I is gonna keep my mouth shut and for clary they should find some girl not an actress.
when I'm watching youtube with "my cast for the mortal instruments", Alex Pettyfer will always be the actor that would show up for Jace, so since I think he's gorgeous he can play the part, though I don't know about the acting.
I think Alex Pettyfer is QUITE good looking, if he was a little more intense looking I would say he's the Jace that I imagined. There are a bunch of people that would work but none of them are 'IT' ya know?

btw I also said that cause I'm a red head and I would love the chance to audition lol

I'm not really a fan of Alex Pettyfer and I really don't think he should play Jace. But have you all seen the Beastly movie trailer? His body totally changed and the way he speaks is just different for me so maybe (just maybe) he could pull it off.

He has the "look" so I want to see him as an actor.
As long as they don't get some 28 year old who LOOKS like a 28 year old to play Jace. They do that on Disney Channel all the time. It's pretty annoying. Pettyfer at least looks young.

I have no idea who the guy is so I google imaged him, of course. Since I haven't seen him in any movies or tv shows I can only go by looks and say that he is hot. And he does look close enough to Jace's age
i have had a liiiiitttle bit of a crush on him for a while but at first i never thought he would play jace well. i am still unsure about his acting but i will have to see beastly to really see it because in wild child he wasn't that great and in his other films he was fairly mediocre. i want to see beastly because basically he's obsessed with himself and then he softens up at the end and the protective shell is gone. just like mi which is cool. he's obviously got the concieted part down judging by interviews i've seen and if he does well in beastly he'll have my vote ! hahaha

I think Alex is an okay Jace. He could work, but I don't think he would be my perfect, ideal choice for the role.
Everyone has a different perspective of Jace as it's a book and you have to use your imagination but based on character description Alex would be ok for the role, but then again so would Romeo Smith (from home and away).

I don't think he should be Jace. It shouldn't be chosen by looks, it should be chosen by who is a good actor. I really don't want to watch a hot guy who can't act. It's going to be twilight all over again, except with good-looking guys if that happens.

no one knows when yet its still just opitioned for a movie so it could take months or years before they even start.
