I would totally do a group rewatch! I miss this show so much. My oldest daughters (10,9, and 7) are on their second run through the series. They're stalled at season 5 though, since we only have it on Blu ray and they can't watch it in the upstairs family room. They taught my 3 year old to sing "You All Everybody". :oD
I stalled on the reading list as well, most likely due to not having the show for motivation. A rewatch would help that as well. I've read a bunch from the list, but still have quite a few more to go.
Which reminds me, I need to go and update my progress thread and do some 2011 organizing.
It's nice to see this group have some activity again! I've missed you, Lori. :o)
I also wanted to add, many of the books on my favorites list came from LOST's book list: Watership Down, The Third Policeman, A Tale of Two Cities, Flowers for Algernon, Everything That Rises Must Converge, Laughter in the Dark... many of which I probably wouldn't have read otherwise. I'm very grateful.
Cait - every book you just listed, I am dying to read. Some of the books on the Lost lit list are books I've been wanting to read forever, and others are favorites waiting to happen. I can't wait to make more headway on my list.

I'm excited to see it's one of your favs!
Do we want to choose the same night a week? Like, Monday? And we could discuss that episode during the week? I suppose we should start a new thread for the rewatch?
Hey Cait! I missed the group too. But with the show being off air, and TNBBC and the blog and twitter - I've lost track of this one :( I feel awful....
I think Monday would be good a night to start the rewatch. Like you mention, Tamsen, it's the beginning of the week and gives us a chance to discuss all week long..
When do we want to start - perhaps the first week of Feb? Is that too soon for everyone?
And I think if we start one new thread per season as we watch them, we should be fine -
Thoughts?

Sounds great, Lori! I'm looking forward to it. I really loved that first season, and I haven't watched it in quite a while!
Perfect. January 31st is our first Monday, which gives us the first week of Feb to discuss. Ahhh... a tv date! :)

I think first week in Feb sounds good!
Is everyone pulling out their Lost Season 1 DVDs? Or if you have Netflix or Hulu Plus you can watch it there.
Hello Everyone! I am new to the group & Lost! I started (obsessively) watching the show for the first time a month ago. All 6 seasons are on Netflix Streaming. I am on Season 5. Love it!!
My season are currently in packing boxes (we close on our house on Friday!); thankfully I have Netflix streaming as well, so I will watch the Pilot tomorrow. Yay!
