Did Stephanie Meyer Copy James Patterson?

Have any of you realized that Twilight is strangley similar to Maximum Ride. It's like Max is Bella, Fang is Edward, and Dylan is Jacob. Fang left Max, like Edward left Bella. Max and Bella went into depression while Dylan and Jacob tried to comfort them. And Jasper and Emmett are like Gazzy and Iggy and Alice and Rosalie are like Angel and Nudge. And you could say that Carlise and Esme are like Jeb and Dr. Martinez. So, does anyone think that Stephanie Meyer copied James Patterson?

I'm appalled that Max Ride is being compared to Twilight. And Max to Bella, for sure. Max has brains, Fang has brains, and Dylan has brains, which is something that basically every character in Twilight lacks.

MR is nothing like twilight. And-if you want to go that way-Twilight came out before some of the MR books, so it could be said that James Patterson is copying Stephinie Meyer, but since we all know he wouldnt do that, I have to disargree.

I wouldn't insult JP like that. I'm merely trying to figure out if maybe, Stephenie Meyer copied JP. But we know he wouldn't copy her. Disrespect if you think he copied her.

i dont think he copied her. but, there is no way stephinie meyer could have copied him because some of her books came out before MR. Like, the twilight saga finished b4 JP even introduced Dylan, so there's no way Steph. could have copied.

Unless she saw the future and copied his idea before he even had it, but that would be giving her WAY too much credit. It's not physically possible for her to have copied him when her books came out first. And I'm still shocked that the two are even being compared...

Or, maybe the two authors are friends and they shared ideas on what their later books are going to be about and Stephenie Meyer was stuck on New Moon so when she heard Jp's idea she decided to copy it! :)

Twilight = Crappy Remake of Romeo and Juliet. Which I DESPISE. Oh, and I hate how she NEEDS Edward. Girls are NOT that dependent on men. We do NOT need them to live, just to keep the species going. Oh, and vampires don't sparkle in the sun. They burn, fast or slow, they still BURN.

Jacob wants Bella because he really and truly likes her. They knew each other as kids, they grew up together, and he fell for her. He's fighting for something he cares about, even if Bella's not worth it.

Mustard gas her first, then fasten her upside-down to the trees. Once she's about to die anyway, cuz mustard gas makes you suffer for at least a few days first, THEN we ax her through the head. Sound good?
