Epocket | 2 comments Hi,

I'm trying to use http://www.goodreads.com/search/search to find a book by title and author - my search string is "to kill a mocking bird harper lee"

When I run the search through my app, the results seem to be served by Amazon.co.uk - and I get no matches, yet when I enter the same URL in my web browser (when logged in to Goodreads) I get a set of correct and useful matches.

I'm a bit confused by this, as other searches deliver useful results in both cases - can anyone explain what is happening, and if its avoidable - I'd have been sure the original search would have been in the goodreads database and therefore provided a match.

Many thanks,
Iain

Epocket | 2 comments Ah, now I think I see - there is no space in "mocking bird" so I guess my search was just failing to match with any books! Doh!
