12. Pleasurable Bargains- published summer 2007, read in august. Related to the House of Pleasure series that I have been reading this summer.

message 458: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments You're welcome! I need to get my fanny in gear so I can finish, too. 3 more books to read.

message 459: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments I was going strong early this summer, but then I started reading a whole bunch of books that didn't fit the challenge :)

You still have plenty of time and august, any romance counts so that should help.

message 460: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments I have to do a Read The Month challenge for August, so I'm using that challenge for this one as well.

message 461: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments Alycia, I can help you make your books fit! Just channel your inner Cheryl...

message 462: by Robin (new)

Robin | 361 comments I finished reading A Kiss at Midnight yesterday which was released this month so it counts and gives me 13\12

LOL, I had to channel my inner Cheryl a few times since you set the standard for being creative. I am finally done :) Sometimes I worried that I wasn't going to finish.

I understand... I DIDN'T finish the last challenge, so I made sure that I finished this one!

Which was the last challenge, the spring one? I hate not finishing challenges, I usually do.

message 466: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments The last challenge was the April Showers Bring May Flowers challenge.

If I didn't spend so much time chatting and posting on Goodreads, I'd have an easier time of getting the challenge books read. LOL

message 467: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments LOL, but that wouldn't be as much fun Dhes and you still finish your challenges here.

message 468: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments I know, I know. September is going to be harder though. 9 books... well, I guess I read at least that many per month, but usually last minute decisions, not all planned out! Gads!

message 469: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments I am the same way. Even if I preplan I change my mind 50 times

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments You're doing great, Dhes! By the way, what's with your name, Your Humble Servant?

message 474: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments It's my "title" for this group... just a little sumthin' I tossed on there.

message 475: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments And thanks! I've changed the list a few times, but at least I'm getting it done :)

At least you're able to change the books this time! We can't change for the September challenge, can we?

message 478: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments No, the horror ;)
I think I change my list every couple of days so I will be satisfied with it once Sept 1 rolls around.

message 479: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments Alycia wrote: "No, the horror ;)

I haven't even thought about it yet! But your way makes sense!

message 480: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments LOL, it does? I just can never make up my mind because I want to read so many :)

message 481: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments For the Build Your Own Challenge challenge, you can change your list up til September 1st. After that, if you're caught altering anything, you'll be forever banned from reading historical romance. And yes, that's even radar enforced.

message 482: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments WOW! That's harsh. I won't disobey. That's why I keep changing my list now :)

message 483: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments That's right, Alycia... work it baby... get it out of your system now!

message 484: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments LOL! I usually avoid challenges where lists cannot be changed, but I was too tempted because I've never done a "create your own challenge" before.

message 485: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments The nice thing is that you don't have to do more than 4 books, AND this fits perfectly well with the Spell September Challenge if you're feeling like 9 books isn't too much.

message 486: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments I wanted to keep it easy. But I went from 4 to 5 books because I couldn't make up my mind :)

message 487: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments I'm still thinking I'll probably change that 9th "R" book. I don't know....

message 488: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments Is that your harlequin selection?

message 489: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments Yes... it's short so it won't be too painful. And at least it has good ratings.

message 490: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments Short could be appealing if your other books are longer.

message 491: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments Yeah, I think I'll just stick with that one. It'll be the most challenging part of the challenge and I might just end up liking it.

message 492: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments That's true. I hope it isn't a dud. At least it has good reviews so far.

message 493: by Cheryl (new)

Well shoot! I better make sure I'm happy with my list before committing to it!
