message 2051: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope. The place is warm and smells heavenly after baking date squares.

TPBM is enjoying a blueberry muffin with a cup of tea.

message 2052: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Ha! I wish. But I would have to get up and make them and I am too tired to do so.

TPBM remembered today was daylight savings? (If you live where daylight savings takes place anyways.)

message 2053: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 73 comments well, for me it's not daylight savings today.

TPBM has a test today

message 2054: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes. It’s a test to see whether I have the self-discipline to eat sensibly at lunch rather than wolfing down a club sandwich and fries from a restaurant.

TPBM loves club sandwiches and french fries!

message 2055: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Mmmmmm! French fries. Don't tease, M!

TPBM is so excited to do blog stuff today.

message 2056: by Craig (new)

Craig | 23 comments Yes, I made a new years resolution to write a blog. It has currently lasted 2 months and 10 days longer than previous NY resolutions!

TPBM is going to be a best selling author one day, and will of course dedicate their first book to me for believing in them!

message 2057: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Sigh. I've resigned myself to remaining an obscure writer, writing in obscure threads and blog posts.

TPBM has joined at least one 'Write-something-a-day-for-a-month' group that s/he actually successfully completed.

message 2058: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 73 comments nope

TPBM has a cut on her/his finger

message 2059: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments No but I have a strange numbness in one of my fingers.

TPBM has neglected their blog for some time now.

message 2060: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (cakeybakes) | 25 comments Yes, I have. But I'm thinking of starting up again.

TPBM is going to bake some scrumpscious goodies today.

message 2061: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, homemade angel food cake for my wife's birthday.

TPBM prefers a butter icing to cream cheese frostings on their cakes.

message 2062: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (cakeybakes) | 25 comments Definitely! Unless we're talking about red velvet or carrot cake, of course.

TPBM needs a nap!

message 2063: by M (last edited Mar 12, 2013 02:52PM) (new)

M | 11617 comments As strange as it may seem, I find that I’m most in need of a nap whenever I’m faced with doing chores.

TPBM has not done all the laundry he or she was supposed to have gotten done today.

message 2064: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Well, I don't actually have to do my laundry yet... so sure I guess.

TPBM just got a new book in the mail!

message 2065: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Nope. Not since the free one I got for reviewing about two months ago.

TPBM is already wondering how tomorrow is going to work out.

message 2066: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes. Is is going to be a burger with swiss cheese and sauteed mushrooms or is it going to be a Philly cheesesteak sandwich?

TPBM has a lot of reading to do before bedtime.

message 2067: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments I should have read but I didn't....

TPBM is still waiting on a package of books.

message 2068: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No. I'm sitting on my chair while I'm waiting for the angel food cake I'm baking to be ready.

TPBM has a lot of writing to do before bedtime.

message 2069: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (cakeybakes) | 25 comments Nope! This person is going to watch the Twilight Zone!

TPBM is craving chocolate with a vengeance.

message 2070: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes! Do I write a rant for Paula, M, your rainbow dream, a story, a poem, finish a blog, finish reading a book, finish my music game for Tim, read Ryan's poem, or go to bed. Bed is starting to win the fight, though!

((Hi Al, me you too!))

TPBM finds that life has too many interesting things to do!

message 2071: by Guy (last edited Mar 13, 2013 06:47AM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yup! Good night.

TPBM dreamt that little flower-like nodules had grown on his/her thigh.

message 2072: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (cakeybakes) | 25 comments Oh, no! It's starting!

TPBM is having difficulty finding a dream.

message 2073: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I have difficulty remembering dreams. I used to write them down. I see that someone, a few posts back, mentioned The Twilight Zone.

TPBM likes the kind of stories that might make good Twilight Zone episodes.

message 2074: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments I've never seen Twilight Zone....

TPBM's package is supposed to be here TODAY!!!! So excited!

message 2075: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 73 comments actually, yes.

TPBM just did her nails

message 2076: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, no.

TPBM has some indoor house plants that they will be giving some TLC to today

message 2077: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments My houseplants are lucky to get a drink of water once in a long while.

TPBM has been so favored by serendipity that he/she has come to depend on it.

message 2078: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (cakeybakes) | 25 comments You betcha!

TPBM likes Duck Dynasty!

message 2079: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Only if it's served Peking style.

TPBM has been to a 'real' Chinese restaurant where the chickens are served with their heads and the fish's eyes are scooped out and ingested faster than you can say kung hay fat choi.

message 2080: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I am, actually, but a good one. (And yes, I have. It was during a work function. At the end of the meal we took the chicken head back to the office and put it in the fridge as a surprise for the crew that were to go on shift the next day. At the time it seemed like a funny idea. Now, I'm not so sure.)

TPBM has been the perpetrator of some pretty silly pranks in their day.

message 2081: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Me? Most certainly not!

TPBM has never put little explosives in people’s cigarettes.

message 2082: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LoL! No, my jokes have never been that good.

TPBM finds knock knock jokes usually lack a good opening line.

message 2083: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments That’s clever! I needed a good laugh.

TPBM sometimes finds this group so enjoyable that time flies by and chores don’t get done.

message 2084: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, which is a real chore when that 'chore' is my paying job!

TPBM doesn't wan't to answer the knock knock coming from their back door.

message 2085: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments We don't usually get people knocking on our back door. But, when we do it's usually just someone else who lives in this house. I still don't like getting up to open it though.

TPBM needs to read today.

message 2086: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Yes besides practicing music I should get into the book I started reading again.

TPBM thinks drums being wailed away in their house sounds awesome! :P

message 2087: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Ah, not really. Wailing drums reminds me too much of unpleasant stuff. Now, booming kettle drums, well, that is a different story.

TPBM thinks the taiko drums are awesome.

message 2088: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes. Our condo has a metal roof, and so the rain sounds awesome!

TPBM went for a walk today and got caught in a hail storm without a hat or umbrella.

message 2089: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments No hail storm here. It's a wonderful 70 degrees.

TPBM stayed up until 11 pm last night writing a speech.

message 2090: by Craig (new)

Craig | 23 comments Nope, I was at medieval times (go team yellow!)

TPBM is hungover from too much green beer

message 2091: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope, but I'm hung over at having to replace our washing machine :-(

TPBM is good a drafting wood construction projects.

message 2092: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Nope. Don't count on me drafting the plans for anything that has to be constructed.

TPBM's head hurts.

message 2093: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No, but I shouldn’t have had so much chips and dip.

TPBM is glad tomorrow’s Monday.

message 2094: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Uh....I guess. I don't prefer Mondays.

TPBM is thinking of having ice cream....

message 2095: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No, but I hope the person above me is having some!

TPBM likes ice cream sandwiches.

message 2096: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, but it has been a completely nutso weekend, so maybe I've lost my mind and don't know it. Really, if I had lost it, how would I know?

TPBM's washing machine decided to die and fill the laundry room with water.

message 2097: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, for sure not given that I know perfection is not within the nature of my nature. But insane, sure, albeit imperfectly. And yes, it did. Friday, actually, but went out to shop for a replacement today. OUCH! What we're looking at is, if not perfectly insane, then perhaps an epitome of insanity.

TPBM wonders how M would react to his washing machine washing out.

message 2098: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Our laundry room has flooded twice. I know what it’s like.

TPBM is going to find out that energy-efficient washing machines (like all things energy efficient) are a ridiculous pain.

message 2099: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Time will tell. I suspect you're right, but my wife does the laundry and so I get the effects indirectly, much like the dog who is the owner's release valve. LoL!

TPBM has woken up to a beautiful spring-like day, with sun and the sound of birds happy to be alive.

message 2100: by Craig (new)

Craig | 23 comments Certainly did, having a spectacular day although here in Canada it's still a wee bit nippy.

TPBM secretly wants to live in a different country.
