message 1623: by Guy (last edited Jan 01, 2013 10:37AM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope. For some reason I've never been intrigued by the WII, and I've never played it. Instead I am watching the quietly brilliant but almost unheard of movie Lullaby for Pi.

TPBM prefers to celebrate the New Year with friends and family rather than out at a big bash filled with strangers.

Oooh. And Guy. I know about the movie Duck Soup. I haven't seen it though. I am more of a Three Stooges kind of guy.

TPBM hopes their bookstore located nearby doesn't shut down (though it seems to be happening everywhere else that contains these things that people seem to not care much about. lol).

message 1646: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Why go to a bookstore when you can download books on e-reading devices? I love bookstores, too! I have a sad feeling, though, that the same fate awaits them that was in store for movie rental places when services such as Netflix became available.

TPBM has a lot to do today but nothing that it’s easy to get excited about.

message 1647: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments I don't have a lot to do and none of it is going to excite me.
