Blade smirked. He glanced at the window again, That is good thing. It means that if anyone else touches you....you will not be reacting as you do with me.

Granny finished tearing out the guts of a man. She grunted,"I'll need to take a shower after this."

Amara who watched nodded,"I agree."

She rolled her eyes. Like I'd want to if it were anyone else. Salem blushed wildly, turning away from him and creating the same drink she had before, taking the glass from the microwave after a minute of heating.

He moved his hand down her back, You are cute when you blush, he said dangerously close kissing her head leaning into her.

"I don't think you want to do that when I have this in my hands," she said slowly, nodding to the noxious concoction.

He moved his hands to her waist and in front of her lower part of her stomach he rested his hands, Perhaps.

Salem frowned. "Brat." Her insides were twisting and churning and she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. She had to focus on her cup so she didn't drop it.

He pulled her into his arms. He hurt the pulsing of her blood rushing within her veins. He also heard the fight slowing down...and the shadowed man resisting the urge to break through. He feared Blade and Blade knew it which is why he plainly showed him that Salem was Blade's and no one could touch her easily.

The cup fell to the floor and shattered at their feet, sending burning liquid scattering. "Shit Blade! You could've let me put it down first!" Her heart raced wildly, like a bird that wanted out of its cage.

He chuckled ((a soothing sound)) and turned her around so that she was facing him. He raised an eyebrow and pushed up against her body, Yes? His face was inches from hers.

She tilted her head up and kissed the corner of his mouth. Yes.

He put a hand on the side of her face and moved his lips down her neck. Then back to her face for a strong passionate kiss. ((I can see it now...like those vampire movies you watch with wide eyes...too much curiousity there. :D))

Salem's lips parted against his and her arms wrapped around him slowly.

Blade let her enticing spirit draw him in and pushed his body against hers. Gently he touched her lips with his then being overwhelmed by her scent he swept her into a passionate kiss.

Amara cocked her head,"Do you hear that? I think more soldiers are coming."

Salem moaned quietly and her arms tightened around him, needing the closeness of him.

Blade could feel the strangers jealousy pulsing through but knew that the stranger was not able to do a thing...after all he still feared Blade. Blade lifted her up onto the counter and kissed her harder.

He suddenly put a hand over her head and held her head to his chest as if feeling that she was the most important thing to him. The soldiers were coming and if anything she needed to escape....her and Amara....he knew Granny wouldn't leave with them.

Granny breathed slowly as the last man fell...more was coming. The government has paid it's toll...but no more would she let them control her...nor the vampire society. She would destroy them till her last breath.

Amara felt her heart weigh heavily....something was wrong...she knew her last bit of family was fading away.

Salem breathed quickly and shallowly until she could slow it down. "Blade?" she murmured.

Amara sighed,"I'm sorry...but we all need to leave....you can come with us though."

Salem sighed and then pulled away enough to look at him, her eyes slowly hardening. "Got it."

He nodded and smirked towards the window and moved around Salem, Grab what you need and meet in the living room

Suddenly pressure began to build and Amara felt like throwing up,"Blade!!!" She yelled,"He's coming."

Granny smirked,"Well now this is new."

Muse strode over to Amara and placed a hand on her back. It would have been stupid to ask if she was 'okay'.

Salem shrugged. "I have it all."

Blade looked at her then guided her into the living room, New? We've been hunting each other for years.

Granny chuckled and wiped blood off her knives,"He's never actually came to fight personally before."

Amara looked up at Muse in fear,"We have to leave now!!!"

Muse nodded. "Okay. I'm with you."

Salem smiled at Granny Linda; the woman was just so amusing sometimes.

Amara nodded,"Downstairs..." She began running down the stairs with Elena in tow.

Granny backed up and shut the front door,"We go through the basement."

Salem put her hands in her back pockets.

Blade paused and wrapped his arms around Salem from behind. He felt her curves as he hugged her, Until we meet again.

Granny pushed Amara and the others through the door,"Behave now."

Muse kept a hand on Amara the whole time.

Granny slammed the door and locked it,"Sorry sweeties."

Salem scowled. "This is ridiculous."

Muse slid his arm the rest of the way around Amara's waist. "Yes. Let's."

Amara smiled wearily for Salem's sakes,"I know....but trust me....it has to be this way."

Granny crossed her arms as the battle drums began to beat.

Blade let his last bit of human qualities slip as he became animalistic.

Salem shot him a wicked glare.

Amara shook with fear,"Y-yes."

Granny grinned and let her human side slip,"Time for dirty work."
