Salem bit her lip, "I do. But if he doesn't want me to know I'll let it be." It was so unlike her to say that, especially the way she said it, that she herself was shocked.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

She laughed hard,"So....righteous...so.....not you." She stood up but couldn't move,"You are pathetic...to say in the least....you know that is not the way you really are."

Blade tensed. He was feeling the urge...he had to stay calm.

[Ky, DON'T.]

"It's not pathetic. Pathetic would be giving in for the selfish reason of getting what you want. I don't know how, but I somehow managed to learn something these past days!" she shouted.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Her mother looked at her,"Finally....something good...well done...Salem." She sat down,"I am tired now....leave me alone."

Blade sighed.

[Ky, DON'T.]

Salem had a lot of names she wanted to call her mother but instead she turned on her heel and breezed through the door. "This was a mistake."

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Blade looked back at the woman who was crying softly to herself. She was broken and that was all there is to it...her daughter had grown and now would hate her....all because she didn't want her to get attached when she was about to die. He stored all that info...he would show it to her later.

[Ky, DON'T.]

Salem leaned against the wall outside the room, eyes closed, fists clenching the fabric of her shirt. She didn't dare open her eyes lest the threatening tears fell.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Blade walked through the door and put a hand on her head revealing what he found out about her...what he knew.

[Ky, DON'T.]

Salem gasped out a sob and slid to the floor, her knees pulled to her chest.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Blade knealt down and pulled her into a hug, Crying is not weak....continue it and let it out all the way.

[Ky, DON'T.]

At first she didn't even notice he was touching her as her body was wracked with shaking cries and her face was soaked with salty tears.
She could taste it.
But some part of her must've known, must've felt, because she melted into him and used him for support.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Blade let her be....crying was a part of life....

[Ky, DON'T.]

When she finally calmed down a bit -- not enough to release her white-knuckled grip on Blade -- Salem noticed him. She tensed and then relaxed again as her mind grew fuzzy and her fatigue set in. Her breathing slowed and her eyes drifted shut yet again.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

He picked her up and carried her to the car and gently set her in,"You are troublesome...you know that?" He whispered to her. He buckled her in and moved to the other side to start the car.

[Ky, DON'T.]

Salem curled onto her side, even buckled as she was to the seat. She slept with one arm across her stomach and the other dangled across her leg. Her eyelids fluttered like she was dreaming, but it wasn't a dream, it was a nightmare.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

((Hahahaaha...but he can be scary too...which is why he's amazing!!!))

Blade was swift with his driving. He topped his record from before and drove at 408 mph getting home a lot quicker. The police didn't even bother to put on their head lights....he has been there for years and never crashed into anyone. He used his mind to see what she was dreaming about.

Wind whipped and attacked her face, cheeks raw from the cold. Her hands were clenched at her sides as she watched, with horror, as several teens and a child stepped before her looking terrifying. Her breath caught as the young one came forward towards her, knife gleaming in his thin hand. He smiled cruelly and his tiny, delicate fangs glinted in the moonlight like the moon reflected on the dark waves behind them. She blinked and when her eyes opened again they had circled her, their expressions sadistic and malicious as they held their knives to her skin. As one they pierced her and she screamed.


((It was her siblings. Cause she has visions, this was like...an alternate vision, something that would've been normal but was distorted and changed by her emotions in her sleep.))

Blade began to stir up her mind with things that he remembered about her siblings. Their gentleness when they spoke about her.

The dream changed into something far less evil and her posture relaxed as she continued to sleep, lulled by the movement of the car and the thoughts Blade was sending.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Blade pulled away when he thought she was comfortable. He parked the car in the shadows and took her out. He opened the door and sat her down to sleep on the porch bed. He sat next to her.

Muse came bursting out on to the porch, ruining the still silence. "What took you guys so long!?"

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Blade shot him a dark look, QUIET!. He looked at Salem.

Amara followed behind him.

[Ky, DON'T.]

Muse looked sheepish. "Sorry," he said, much quieter.

Salem stirred.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Blade glared, What do you need?

[Ky, DON'T.]

"We wanted to know how it went."

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Look at Salem and then tell me what you think? Blade said still glaring.

Amara looked sad,"Not very well..."

[Ky, DON'T.]

Muse shrugged. "Everyone sleeps."

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Amara smacked Muse in the arm,"You clueless....Salem is asleep cause she's emotionally exhausted which means she had a crying spell which means it didn't go well."

Blade nodded POed.

[Ky, DON'T.]

Muse frowned. "Well how was I supposed to know that? Salem doesn't ever cry."

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Amara shook her head,"You must learn that women are women at heart and just because you have never seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen."

[Ky, DON'T.]

"Okay, okay," he held up his hands in surrender.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

She nodded,"So...we should let her rest."

[Ky, DON'T.]

"Outside?"

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

She smiled,"Silly...Blade is watching over her...she needed fresh air is all."

Muse shrugged but smiled a little. "Let's go in."

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

Amara took his hand and walked in. She went to the kitchen to get some food when she noticed granny sitting at the back looking sad.

[Ky, DON'T.]

"What's wrong, Gramma?"

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

"Darling....her mother was my best friend....we grew up together...and it was because her parents died early and she met him....that she became the way she is," she said sadly.

[Ky, DON'T.]

"Met who? Wait, are we still talking about Salem's mom?"

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

"Yes....when her mother met her husband."

[Ky, DON'T.]

"What was Say's dad like?" Muse was all at once happy that Salem was asleep and not awake to hear him call her that.

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

"He was a proud man....always dark and mysterious...but she was drawn to him like a fly. She wanted him and he took advantage of that....he knew and he never cared for her like she did him," she said darkly.

[Ky, DON'T.]

"That's horrid...what'd he do?"

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

"You can't even fathom all he did.....you see Blade? He was apart of that....many things he did....," she said angrily.

Amara was silent and sad.

[Ky, DON'T.]

"And Say?"

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

"Her mother and siblings...that's what.....and Amara...your siblings are dead besides Blade....just as Salem's would be without the mother....now that she is going to die....I don't know what will happen to them," she said.

[Ky, DON'T.]

Muse paled further than he already was. "Salem won't just stand by and let them get hurt...wait what? She has siblings?"

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

"You wouldn't know but yes...she does....five actually," she said softly.

[Ky, DON'T.]

"Five? Does she know? She would so freak."

[Jamie, SPARKLE.]

"She knows...Blade has been teaching her that whole time we were in the living room," she said.
