Elizabeth | 74 comments Currently, FLB's Quakeland has listed "find at: Amazon, Audible." I would like to add the B&N link, but when I click "change links," it takes me to the page for editing the "find at" links for HP Book 7. Help?

Find at links are specific to the GR user, not to the book. If you change them for one of your books, you will change them for all of them.

Elizabeth | 74 comments Really? 'Cause when I click, on for example, Dangerous Angels the Weetzie Bat Books, I see "find at: Amazon | Half.com | Barnes & Noble | Abebooks | more..."

That's because your first example lacks an ISBN-10 (which I will fix in a moment), and therefore you will only see those options on your list that can search by title as well as ISBN.

Edit: Now it has an ISBN-10. You should see the same list as the other book.

Elizabeth | 74 comments Interesting.

I was referring to the Hardcover edition of Quakeland, which doesn't have an ISBN because when I went to enter one, it wouldn't let me because the Advance Reading Copy had already been entered with that ISBN.

I assumed you meant the edition you linked to. But yes, the same issue will apply to any book without an ISBN. Only a few of the "find at" links can find books sans ISBN.

And since it does not make sense to me that the ARC should have the ISBN rather than the published edition, I switched that.

Elizabeth | 74 comments Sorry, I forgot that when I do the book link shorthand it doesn't necessarily go to "my" edition.

Elizabeth | 74 comments And thank you for switching the ISBN :)

And I'm so used to using direct links that I didn't think to check what you had used.

Happy to help! :)
