Here is a short synopsis:
Choices define our fate. In Pete Farrell's life, these choices changed the fate of his world in unpredictable ways. All stories have a beginning and this story begins during a time long since forgotten. A machine, built to bring victory to a ruthless despot named Bocchio, is lost in time. An evil plan is stopped. A millennia passes and the evil still exists. Underground, the machine waits, until the day it would be found by someone whose destiny would change the fate of us all. A boy named Peter Farrell, unsure of his own path, stumbles upon the machine. It transform him, changes him into something extraordinary. While this happens the ruthless monster who nearly destroyed the universe is freed. Bocchio begins to rebuild his army to regain the power he lost. A new more powerful Pete steps out from the shadows of his friends only to discover a darkness inside. Bocchio attempts to turn Pete, tempting his dark side with the freedom Pete's power offers. Nearly losing himself entirely, Pete's descent into darkness is stopped when a cherished loved one is taken. Bocchio turns on Pete and so his plan to regain power begins. Lost between the man he once was and the man he was becoming, a sign from the past finally shows Pete the way. A story from his family's past convinces him to strike back at Bocchio using the darkness in his heart.
Naming it Shadow, he takes to the skies in a last attempt make up for past mistakes. Everything builds to a final confrontation where his father's words will lead him to get justice for those lost in the night.
