I had a friend who gave me this book to borrow and have not yet read it. That was about 3 years ago. He was one of my best friends and he gave me a few books that I had to read as they were meaningful to him. Since then, we had a falling out and we really don't speak at all...which is really sad to me because he was a great friend. Anyways, I have had this book on my shelf and putting it off because I get upset thinking about this friendship that was lost. BUT..I'm still intrigued to see why he wanted me to read it.

I found this book in the bargain section of Barnes and Noble so I think I paid $4 for it. I just started reading it this afternoon...it was such a nice day for sitting outside and reading. I've gotten through the first three stories.
***Possible Spoiler***
A Good Man Is Hard To Find turned out to be a completely different story than I thought it was going to be. For some reason I thought it was going to be a love story. Not sure why I thought that.

***Spoiler***
I don't get why the grandmother or the children's mother didn't make a bigger commotion after the Misfit's men shot the father and son. The children's mother seemed to be in shock, but the grandmother kept talking to the Misfit.

I thought she did kind of make a big deal about it. Plus, I'm sure they were all terrified. Not sure. I read it a while ago.
