Is this series more of a fantasy than an UF, I keep seeing them in the store, but honestly the covers have deterred me.

I think this is fantasy. The UK covers are better, you can probably get them cheap via bookdepository.com.

I like those covers! Really pretty! Ok, so is there anyone that's read any of these books and know what they are about or anything?

I really enjoy this series. I have read the first 3 books and they keep getting better. This is definitely a fantasy series. For those who want to start it the first book starts pretty slow. It takes about 75 pages to get into it, but hang in there, it gets so much better. I agree the UK covers are much better looking.

Good to know that it's a hard book to get into. I've heard several people say that they've had a hard time with the first book. But typically as long as I know that it will take a bit to get into it, I'll hang in there!
