There are good things to do at 5 AM, and then roll over and go back to sleep after. Other than that and staying up all night having wild, stupid fun, 'til the break a dawn, no one in their right mind should be chirpy, pirky, and/or happy at 5. My guess is that the high pitched screams are from farm animals. Small ones.
