1. i wanted to see how you guys reacted
2. i have had a very bad week (involving my grandpa in the hospital and me getting kinda sick)

That was the most intellegent and very true thing I have heard all day! Yes! I EXACTLY the same way! My mom used to read the Harry Potter books to me because I didn't enjoy reading when I was young, but as I got older and she stopped I picked up where she left off and it sparked my love for books!

the books are classics
i like them, i think the story line is good, there's lots of excitement which makes the reader desperate to finish
if you haven't read the books your missing out

I just don't get why on earth people compare Twilight to HP...they are TOTALLY DIFFERENT. One is about a vampire who falls in love with is lunch and the other is about a kid with a scar who goes to a wizard school and learns how to blow stuff up...

but you see..TOTALLY DIFFERENT. I just guess that people compare it because they are both major movie productions and get a lot of media action.

Oh something else will replace vampires. Fallen angels, demons, ghosts...something else will come along. Fallen angels are already being butchered sadly.
