Does anyone else besides me hate Harry Potter?

The series was supposed to be for children, so it may seem boring to those who are older. This is to be expected, seeing as though Harry was only 11 in the first book. However, Harry grows up throughout the series. Each book brings more depth and growth as Harry grows, and this allows for a wider range in age. For those who say that they found the first two to be boring, they should not just stop there. The series gets more interesting as you go due to the change in age.

Millions of people love Harry Potter (myself included)...sooooooo I think we can all agree that they aren't the worst books ever written...

I think that like most everyone who has ever had a negative comment to make about J.K.Rawling's incredible Harry Potter series, your hatred for HP is that it wasn't your idea. Good writing is good writing, without regard to who wrote it, who stars in it and who likes or dislikes it. Obviously based on the mammouth success of the series, you are part of a miniscule minority.

I have to disagree with you here. "Pointless" would mean that there would be no point to Harry "dying," when it is actually a very important part of the plot. It is when the horcrux in Harry is killed, meaning that Voldemort can now die. It extremely important and without this part, everyone's favorite protagonist would have actually died.
All i'm saying is that I LOVE the HARRY POTTER SERIES!
